Evolution’s Deception: Making a Monkey of Man, Pt. 1
“Proving The Existence of God”
Psalm 19:1-4
Is there really a God? Is there even an answer to that question and, “If there is a God where did God come from?”
We’ve all had these kinds of questions in our minds or have had someone ask us and not always had the answer!
Carl Sagan said, “The cosmos is all that there is or ever was or ever will be.”
But Genesis says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
There’s a big difference between these 2 statements. How do we answer the question of the existence of God in order to influence society? This is what I will try to accomplish today!
Think for a moment about the enormous affects of this issue: If God created, then that puts Him in authority, but if evolution is correct, that puts man in authority! Do you see what’s at stake?
Key: What society believes of its origins directly affects it’s whole worldview! It is either a humanistic or theistic battle for today’s mindset!
Romans 1:20
1 Peter 3:15 “Be ready always to give an answer (defense, apology) to every man that asks you a reason of the hope (assurance) that is in you.”
21st Christians must know what they believe and why they believe it or Christianity is no good for anyone! In the last 40 years we’ve been playing catch up with secular society with regards to answers to the nagging questions we all have about life. Think about this…for nearly 1900 years we held to Biblical creation. It has only been in the last 160 years that secular society has attacked the Biblical account of creation with vigor and viciousness!
Men like Fredrick Nietzsche (“God is dead”), Benedict Spinoza, Sigmund Freud and David Hume, to name just a few, have made a serious wreck out of the faith of millions around the world.
The major dents that make up this wreck: belief in God’s existence, reliability of the Bible and their denial of miracles. And yet every one of these men believes in evolution, and if true, is the greatest miracle of all!
David Hume said, “A miracle is a violation of the laws of nature.” This is not true, a miracle is going beyond the laws of nature, example: healing cancer cells.
Think of it this way…believing that a God beyond the universe, created it, controls it can also interfere in it.
But using David Hume’s statement, evolution is a violation of the laws of nature in every way, which I will prove in the weeks ahead!
So now, let’s put our brains to work…
Let me ask…how many would like to put me in a padded cell if I said that this worship center came into being by random chance?
Or let me put it another way…how about the presidents on Mount Rushmore, what if I said that they were carved out of that mountain by millions of years of wind and water?
That’s laughable! All of us would say that there is a recognizable intelligence behind its creation!
Dr. Richard Dawkins, a strong evolution from England said in 1997, “We have seen that living things are too improbable and too beautifully designed to have come into existence by chance.”
What is he saying…not that God made anything, but that chance can go to this extreme!
A secular biology teacher will say, “Billy, as long as the DNA eventually lines up together and in the right order, that’s what matters.”
The Christian biology teacher will say, “Billy, but what are the odds of DNA eventually lining up together to create life and then how did that DNA come into existence in the first place?”
Think for a moment: if you could just take one of your living cells and take the information from it, the information would take up approximately 500,000 pages.
What is DNA? Think of it as a long piece of rope with beads of molecules that are put on it and all of those molecules would spell out every minute aspect of who you are. It could be said that DNA is the Morris code to man’s existence!
So the evolutionists would say, “You don’t need God, just as long as the molecules line up in the right order, then you have life!”
The evolutionist continues, “Take a hat and place the complete alphabet in it and pass it around and let the letters C A T be pulled out and now by chance we have a word. Now give enough time you could get enough words in sequence to form a sentence and you’re off. Eventually you will get the entire enclyopedia compiled. So see Billy, we don’t need God - you just need time and chance!”
So now Billy comes back to the Christian biology teacher and says, “See, if we don’t need God for creation, we don’t need him in our lives at all!”
But now the Christian teacher says, “There’s a major flaw in your reasoning. Who is the only person that knows what that word “CAT” says?” And Billy says, “The person who knows English, that ‘s easy!”
The Christian biology teacher then says, “But Billy, what does GATO say?” And Billy says, “I don’t know?” “It means, “cat” in Spanish and only a Mexican would know what that order of words means. Isn’t that right, Johnny?”
LifePoint: the order of DNA and molecules is meaningless without the language system (chemicals within the cell) to have any meaning at all. You see, the language system reads the DNA and gives the cell purpose!
So you need the language system and the molecules coming together at just the right time in order for a cell to function correctly in the body!
Let me put it another way…When I flew on a 747 to Nigeria a few years ago, I sat next to one of the ministry team members who was reading about the history of the plane. He said to me, “Did you know that there are over 6 million parts that make up this massive plane and not one of these 6 million parts can fly? I can tell you that made me feel real good right about then!
On the serious side…put all those 6 million parts together at the right time and with the right pilot (that’s key) and away you go!
Life is just like that! Evolution fall short of this possibility.
Put a frog into a blender, turn it on (I don’t recommend you do this) and now you have “blended frog”! Now how many think that just after 30 seconds in that blender, the frog is just simply going to hop away? I hope none of you!
But why not? Think for a moment – all the parts of the frog are there in the blender!
Here’s the key: Unless everything comes together at the right time, and in the right order, that frog is only good for soup on “Fear Factor”.
A former evolutionist, Michael Behe says in his book “Darwin’s Black Box”, “The simplicity that was once expected to be the foundation of life has proven to be a phantom…systems of horrendous, irreducible complexity inhabited in the cell…The resulting realization that life was designed by an intelligence is a shock to us in the 20th century who have gotten use to thinking of life as the result of simple natural laws. The most powerful reason for science’s reluctance to embrace a theory of intelligent design is also based on philosophical considerations.”
Do you realize what he is saying? It has nothing to do with evidence, but everything to do with preconceived thinking and reasoning!
Question: Where did the language system come from this is a must in order for DNA to function? From God!
German Professor Werner Gitt says in his book “In The Beginning Was Information”…“There is no law of nature, no known process of and no known sequence of events which can cause information to originate by itself in matter.”
He’s saying that there is no way for matter to create!
He goes on to say…“There is no known law through which matter can give rise to information, neither is any physical process or material phenomena known that can do this.”
Information must come from intelligence! Infinite information given to get more information. See how we have logically and fairly defended creation?

So getting back to the Christian Biology teacher, “Yes Billy, I can scientifically prove that in the beginning God did create everything! But Billy let me ask you, “do you believe that matter by itself turned into complex information? You see Billy it’s you who has a blind faith, believing something happened opposite of what we see scientifically!”
One day a group of evolution scientists got together and decided that man had come a long way and no longer needed God. So they picked one man to go tell God that they were done with Him.
The evolutionist walked up to God and said, "God, we’ve decided that we no longer need you. We’re to the point that we can clone people and do lots of miraculous things, so why don’t you just go on and get lost."
God listened very patiently and then God said, "Very well, how about this? Let’s say we have a man-making contest." The evolutionist confidently agreed.
Then God added, "Now, we’re going to do this just like I did back in the old days with Adam."
The evolutionist said, "Sure, no problem" then he bent down and grabbed himself a handful of dirt.
God looked over at him and said, "No, no. You go get your own dirt!"
So I ask, why is there this attitude in America?

King James: “They are willfully ignorant”
Dr. Richard Lewontin, a Harvard Geneticist, said in 1997 book “Billions and Billions of Demons”… “Materialism is absolute, for we cannot allow a Divine Foot in the door.”
What is he admitting? “I don’t care what the evidence says, I am choosing to be willfully ignorant!”
Charles Darwin said in his autobiography, “A man who has no assured and ever present belief in the existence of a personal God or a fixed existence with retribution and rewards can have for his rule of life, as far as I see it, only to follow his impulses and instincts…”
He also said in his book, “The Decent of Man”… “False facts are highly injurious (cause harm, injure) to the process of science, for they often endure long.”
You see evolutionist always have to ignore the evidence before their own eyes - that the complex forms of life are from intelligent design. I will prove my point with Professor Francis Crick, he states… “Biologists must constantly keep in mind that what they see was not designed, but rather evolved.”
Psalm 11:3 “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”
LifePoint: Evolution is not just a theory of matter and molecules, but a life philosophy and worldview!
I am amazed at Christians who believe in evolution of man and then speak out against abortion and homosexuality!
Take Genesis chapter 1 out and now it doesn’t matter what Mathew, Mark, Luke and John say, because with evolution man determines truth not God!
John 5:46,47 “…If you had believed Moses, you would have believed me. And since you don’t believe what he wrote, how will you believe what I say?”
