The Dwelling Place
Texts ! Samuel 10:6-7, 9-12, Samuel 19:18-24
PURPOSE: For believers to understand that there is Safety & deliverance in the Midst of the Holy Spirit.
KEY WORDS: Naioth: Means the Dwelling Place.
Ramah: The High Place
Sechu: Observatory
Prophesy: To reveal the Will or message of God
Prophesying: Inspire Teaching
Prophet: One who speaks by divine inspiration; or as the interpretation through whom the will of God is express.
Messenger: A bearer of news.
Samuel: Last of the Judges first of the prophet
School: The building or Group of buildings in which instruction is given or in which students work & live.
NOTES:
1. In times of trouble David Sought his elder of his Faith for advice.
2. Saul once was a prophet, at Naioth at Ramah 1Samuel 10:11
3. Every messenger that came in the presence of the Spirit among the prophets left change even Saul himself .
4. The other believers or Prophets followed or was on one accord with Samuel.
5. Each person or messenger that left the presence of the holy Spirit left speaking of God or prophesying.
6. Others will see a change when you leave the presence of the Holy Spirit,
7. People Change in the presence of God.
8. When People are on one accord, or where 2 or 3 are gather in together I am in the midst Matthew 10:18-20p
9. Saul been on that route before, so it was not like he wasn’t a man of God just that when folk stray away from there calling or the dwelling place, evil can settle in but on the return to the dwelling place what was once thought to be, would be now again.
10. David & Saul both shared the same teacher, Saul was tending to the flock as well as David.

1. Who do you run to when you are in trouble.
A. David sought God
B. David ran to someone who knew God.
C. David teacher knew God also & led him to the Lord presence.
Like David we should run to the Lord in troubling situations, and share the situation with someone of the same faith, who would confirm what God can & will do;
2. When someone is seeking you with a distressing situation What do you do.
A. Samuel heard what was going on, but still led David among the other believers.
B. Samuel was the same teacher of both David & Saul but still led him to worship & pray with other believers in regards to the situation at hand.
Like Samuel we should take every situation to prayer & mediation, make all are request know unto God, who is the author and finisher of our faith. Also no matter who the disagreeing parties are we should take the issue to where God dwells at. So both parties or people should leave with the same respect for you and God. For you are led by God.
3. HOW should the other of the same faith respond, that is ask for special favor or participation.
A. There is no record of how the other prophet complained about how this was unscheduled, or why must Samuel lead. They enter in with hearts of thanksgiving.
They put all difference aside & met the need for praise at that moment.
Like the others prophets we should all be on one accord, and ready to follow the problems of the people and disagreements he notice there praise
4. When everyone is on one accord what happened.
A The messenger recognize the unity.
B The messengers join
C. The messenger was converted
D. The messengers left with a different message
When everyone is on one accord the message is easier to come across, when everyone is on one accord messages mint for the worse turns out to be the best. When everyone is on one accord the spirit moves a lot more freely, and messages of hopelessness turns into hope, messages of pain turns into message of love, message of distress turns into messages of rest. Interruptions turns to intercession, insecurity turns to eternal security when everyone is on one accord.
In The Dwelling Place
Giving respect to God, My Pastor here in Phoenix - Pastor Stuart and thanking him, for giving me another opportunity to bring Gods Holy Word to His people. I thank all of you who came out to support me; my family, friends, and associate ministers. BRIEF PRAYER ASKING God to control my tongue, nervousness & how his words should be preached, allowing God to use every inch of me in presenting his Holy Word.
I come here believing God habits the praises of people. I come also as a witness knowing that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. I know that when praises goes up blessing will comes down. I agree with the book of Isaiah in chapter 59: verse 19b when it says, “When the enemies come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.” Fred Hammond said it wont work, there also deliverance at the Potter House. (–Eye Contact time– Give testimony of high praise and comfort Conclude how everything that was said about you, or your imagination was squashed)
I want you to open your bibles to the book of 1 Samuel chapter 19 verses18-24. The title of the message is The Dwelling Place. I have a desire to answer these five questions in your hearts and minds.
1. Who do you run to when you are in trouble |?
2. When someone is seeking you with a distressing situation What do you do or should you do.
3. HOW should the other of the same faith respond, that is asking for special favor or participation?
4. When believers are on one accord, what could happen to the body of believers.
5. How should those who don’t know God fully, or are not in the right standing with God leave our body of believers.
Read 1Samuel 19-18-24 chapter
1 Sam l9:18-19 David sought God knew that the Man of God or the man God chose to TEACH HIM the man that usually hears from God, also led by God might have an answer in this time of need. so David ran to Samuel his Elder teacher believing Friend to Ramah. there is something significant about this place called Ramah. Ramah means the high place. In scriptures the people tends to worship the Lord up at the High place. David himself said I look to the Hills from whence cometh my help, hill signifies the high place when he was in trouble. He ran to the High place. when floods rise or fire brakes people tend to run to the Highest place possible. Churches in the past where usually located on hills or in high places away from the elements and easy obtainable and seen to those whom will seek the Lord In high places. People tend to feel closer to God up in high places.
Like David we should run to the Lord in troubling situations, we should not seek the lows of life for comfort but we should share the situation with someone of the same faith, who would confirm what God can & will do.
See David was seeking Guidance in this troubling distressing situation so he ran to Samuel his Elder teacher believing Friend when he was in trouble. And this Elder teaching friend led him to a place called Naioth which as you already know was in Ramah. There is something significant about Naioth in Ramah. The Word Naioth means The Dwelling Place and where it was located was in Ramah which means the High place. So in fact David Elder teaching, friend, Samuel whom if I may add was the last of the Judges, first of the Prophet, led David to Naioth at Ramah. A Judge led a fellow student prophet licentiate to where the Lord would be most prominent at, but not just there for the scriptures says that “the Lord inhabits the praises of his people.” There are a lot of high places, but if the Lord does not dwell there it has no significance. Also to add Naioth at Ramah was also where the School of Prophets was. Where Samuel was the master teacher instructor. Samuel heard what was going on, but still led David among the other believers. The same Samuel who was the same teacher of both David & Saul, whom was led by God to licence ordain instruct both to fulfill the call of Prophets at his Institutional of Prophets. But still led David to worship & pray with other believers in regards to the situation at hand. Knowing that Saul had another call that the world hold higher than Samuel. Samuel the King was in pursuit of David’s life. The King that could say “off with your head and it be done,” the king in whom was also Samuel dear friend. Samuel the instructor teacher that Saul the King received most of his confirmation Word from. SAMUEL. But still Samuel led David to the Dwelling place or lets say to Church.
Like Samuel we should take every situation to pray praise & mediation, make all our request know unto God, who is the author and finisher of our faith. Also no matter who the disagreeing parties are we should take the issue to where God dwells at. So both parties or people should leave with the same respect for you and God. For you are led by God.
Now the other prophets under the leadership of Samuel, when asked for special favor & participation, obeyed for someone in the midst of them and in observing Samuel & David, went and snitch just to cause more drama, and told where David was. For when the messenger saw them in the dwelling place they was having some Good Church. There is no record of how the other prophets complained about how this was unscheduled, or “why must Samuel lead with all of us here”, “we being prophets to”. They enter in with hearts of thanksgiving. They put all differences aside, and met the need for praise at that moment. They were like David when he said “I was glad when said unto me lets us go into the house of the Lord.” Like the others prophets we should all be on one accord, and ready to follow the Person of God in Charge of service.” Problems of the people and disagreements should not be notice in the assembly of believers, the word says n the book of Matthew chapter 5:16 let your light so shine before people that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven. For when we being like the assembly of the congregating prophets and fellow believers. If we I may say church body are truly believing and living going & growing sharing & caring as a active witnesses of the kingdom of God, and one body in Christ. Then when everyone is on one accord, and the leader calls us to enter into or at the high place of 1141 E Jefferson at the dwelling place of First Institutional Baptist Church where the Holy Spirt presides and abides where two or three and many more come together touching and agreeing The messenger of despair will recognize the unity. The messengers soon will join in. The messenger will be converted or at least convinced. The messengers will leave with a different message
GET MORE CONTACT ALLOW THE SPIRIT TO MOVE, AND SLOW DOWN AND DON’T BE AFRAID TO ABLIB.
When everyone is on one accord in The Dwelling place the Lord’s prophesied message will be easier to come across, when everyone is on one accord messages mint for the worse turns out to be the best. When everyone is on one accord the spirit moves a lot more freely, and messages of hopelessness turns into hope, messages of pain turns into message of love, message of distress turns into messages of rest. The scriptures says and it was told Saul take note David is at Naioth in Ramah and when Saul was told this he sent messengers to take David, and when they saw the group of prophets, prophesying, the spirit of God came upon the messenger of Saul, and they also prophesied.(halleujah) And when Saul was told this he sent other messengers, and they prophesied likewise, then Saul sent messengers again the third time, and they prophesied also. Then he also went to Ramah and came to the great well that is at Sechu. Let me tel you Sechu has some significance also it means to So he asked, and said, “Where are Samuel and David?” And someone Said, “Indeed they are at Naioth in Ramah.” So he went on and Prophesied until he came to Naioth in Ramah. And he also stripped off his clothes and prophesied before Samuel in like manner and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Therefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?”
Even when Saul the originator himself came to see what was going on his message was Hallelujah Glory to the God on high, the Lord high of the heavens and praises across the nation, give God the Highest praise let all the people hale hale hale. Since the beginning Satan has been sending messages to the Dwelling place a whole lot, but even him when he enter in, to the dwelling place up at the High place the scriptures says, every knee shall bow of those in heaven and of those on earth, and of those under the earth & every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!
So today if there is someone who probably heard the wrong message in regards to marriage, finance, commitments, healing, let honor Gods word and draw nigh to him. If you never received salvation is your chance to leave here change with a different message, if you’re haveing family problems watch how the Holy sprit can change your family night, The Doors of the church is Open.
