“The Muslim Maze”, Pt. 4
Matthew 7:15-20
I just want to go on record as saying again; these 4 weeks have not been a Muslim bashing with hate. But rather it’s been an Islamic exposing with truth.
Last week we covered some good ground in order to search out the facts about Islam.
Just think for moment in review of last week…Jesus raised the dead and Mohammad killed the living. Jesus healed the sick and Mohammad harmed the healthy. Jesus released the oppressed and Mohammad enslaved the free! And it’s still happening today somewhere around the world!
10. We Must Uncase The Facts About The Name “Allah”.
Why is this so important? Because Muslims want everyone to know that Allah is the same god as Christianity! And that it has Biblical origins. It’s been a line of deception that has been fed to the world for years now and if Islam continues to feed it - enough people (including Christians) will bite!
By now it should not surprise you that the name “Allah” is something thought up by cults in the Arabia religious culture. The reason Muhammad never had to try to explain who Allah was in the Quran is because were well aware of the name long before Mohammad’s day!
Dr. Arthur Jeffrey, one of the most respected Western Islamic scholars and teaches Middle Eastern Studies at Columbia University, says in his book “Islam: Mohammad and His Religion”, “The name Allah, as the Quran itself is witness, was well known in pre-Islamic Arabia. Indeed, both it and it feminine form, “Allat” are found frequently among theophorous names in inscriptions from North Africa.”
So let’s break down this word. The word “Allah” comes from combining two Arabic words.
“al” = is the definite article “the”.
“lah” = is the Arabic word for “god”.
Key: Allah is purely an Arabic term for an Arabian deity. There is no evidence that it is a Hebrew or Greek word for God.
Hastings’s Encyclopedia of religion and ethics states, “Allah is a proper name applicable only to their (Arabs) peculiar God.”
Gibb’s Encyclopedia of Islam states, “Allah was known to pre-Islamic Arabs; he was one of the Meccan deities.”
Dr. Kenneth Cragg, former editor of the prestigious scholarly journal “Muslim World” states, “The name Allah is also evident in archeological and literary remains of pre-Islamic Arabia.”
Caesar Farah in his book “Islam: Beliefs and Observations”, says, “There is no reason, therefore, to accept the idea that Allah passed to the Muslims from the Christians and Jews.”
Fact: In Arabia during Mohammad’s day, the sun was a female god and the moon was a male god. And the moon god was given various names including Allah.
The sun god and moon god were married and they then produced 3 daughters called “The daughters of Allah”. Their names: Al-Lat, Al-Uzza andManat. In Mohammad’s pagan background these goddess were considered lesser god - that is, they were not at the top of the pantheon of Arabian deities!
To drive the last nail into this coffin, Norman Geisler states in his book “Answering Islam” states, “The fact that Muhammad’s own father bore the name “Adb-Allah” (slave to god) would indicate that this god was known by that name prior to Islam.”
Side Note: Compare this concept of God to what is taught in Mormonism. Their god has sexual relations and if we live a good enough life here on earth we can go to our own planet as gods and begin to populate it. Doesn’t that just give you a pain you can’t quit locate?
I rest my case that Christians do not worship the same God. If we did, then God can’t even get his name straight!
11. We Must Unpack The Abraham and Ishmael Myth.
The statement that Muslims are a descendent of Abraham through his son Ishmael is a suitcase of lies, bad history and false tradition! And that God gave the land of Israel to Arabs.
Most respected experts on this subject reject this completely! Even the “Dictionary of Islam” questions this claim!
a. Abraham never went to Mecca.
According to Muslim tradition, Abraham and Ishmael built the Kaaba, the cube-like structure in the Sacred Mosque in Mecca. But outside these traditions there is absolutely no evidence for this claim - whether archaeological or documentary.
Ibn Warraq (Muslim turned atheist) in his book “Why I Am Not A Muslim Indeed”, he states that the historian Snouck Hurgronje has shown that Muhammad invented the story to give his religion an Arabian origin and setting; with this brilliant improvisation Muhammad established the independence of his religion, at the same time incorporating into Islam for the Arabs.
Montgomery Watt a Middle East Historian states,
“It is virtually certain that Abraham never reached Mecca. The essential point...is that, where objective fact has been established by sound historical methods, it must be accepted.”
b. Abraham did not offer up Ishmael in Mecca.
Surah 37:102-107 “When he grew enough to work with him, he said, "My son, I see in a dream that I am sacrificing you. What do you think?" He said, "O my father, do what you are commanded to do. You will find me, GOD willing, patient. They both submitted, and he put his forehead down (to sacrifice him). We called him: "O Abraham. "You have believed the dream." We thus reward the righteous.”
Genesis 22:1-2 "After these things God tested Abraham, and said to him, ‘Abraham!’ And he said, ‘Here am I.’ He said, ‘Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering upon one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."
We need to know several issues here. The Quran:
· Never mentions the name or the location.
· Says this was only a dream.
Remember: Muslims believe that the Jewish scribes later corrupted the original reading from Ishmael to Isaac.
Hebrews 11:17 "By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was ready to offer up his only son..."
James 2:21 "Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he offered up his son Isaac upon the altar?"
The Bible and the Quran are in agreement over several points about Isaac’s unique status:
· Isaac was the only promised child of Abraham. Genesis 17:15-21; Surah 11:69-73, 37:112-113, 51:24-30
· Isaac was conceived miraculously to a barren mother and a very aged father. Genesis 17:15-17, 18:9-15, 21:1-7; Galatians 4:28-29; Surah 11:69-73, 51:24-30
My point: if the Quran can agree on these points, why then all of the sudden can’t it agree on the Ishmael point? It’s called…convenient interpretation! Demonic!
The Bible has overwhelming manuscript evidence that support’s our claim that the Bible has not been altered to suite the Jew or Christian!
c. There’s no evidence of Arabs being descendant of Ishmael’s.
Arabs are no more the descendents of Ishmael, son of Abraham,
Alfred Guillaume notes:
“There are several problems with these genealogies. The first problem is the time span, as note, if there are only four generations between Adam and Ishmael, then the are about 24-25 generations between Muhammad and Abraham spanning about 2500 years. This makes for about one hundred years between generations, which is a bit far-fetched…”
W. Aliyyuddin Shareef (In response to Robert Morey’s “Islamic Invasion”) says, "In pre-Islamic times Ishmael was never mentioned as the Father of the Arabs."
Finally, the great Muslim commentator al-Baidawi believed that the child of sacrifice was Isaac. He states in “The Quran and Its Exegesis”, “…Some say (that God perfected his blessing) on Abraham by taking him as a ‘friend’ (khalil) and by saving him from the fire (into which the unbelievers had cast him), and (he perfected it) on Isaac by delivering him from the sacrifice and by ransoming him with a great victim (for the sacrifice)”.
Then who are the Arabs? These are people of differing tribes that congregated in Arabia.
12. We Must Unseal The Reality of Justified Lies.
Have you ever noticed that radical Muslims can say one thing to the non-Muslim press and another thing to the Muslim press? This has bothers me greatly over the last several years!
Yasser Arafat was a master at doing this! He could say in English to the worldwide press and lie through his teeth, then turn to his own people and say very hateful statements.
Saddam Hussein did this for years and it bought him lots of time!
Iran is doing this at this moment with regards to their nuclear program that they seem to say is only for energy, but in reality it’s to make a nuclear bomb! The IEAE and the U.S. are calling their bluff!
There’s an Islamic proverb that says, “If you can’t cut your enemies hand, kiss it.”
Muhammad taught that it was acceptable to deny one’s faith in Allah in order to further one’s cause. Muhammad’s closest friend was Amar Ben Yasser, the Jews trapped him and he denied being a Muslim in order to gain release. He came back to Muhammad and told him what had happened and he said if it ever happened again he should do exactly the same thing!
This is recorded over and over as a regular event with Muhammad and his disciples.
Can you imagine if Jesus said that to his disciples? Instead he said, “Let your yes be yes and your no be no!” Instead of denying the Lord in times of persecution, these early Christians died confessing Jesus as Lord!
Islamic Philosopher, Ibn Taymiyah, who lived from 1263-1328 wrote a book called, “The Sword on the Neck of the Accuser of Muhammad”, in it he states, “Believers when in a weakened stage in a non-Muslim country should forgive and be patient with people of the book (Jews and Christians) when they insult Allah and his prophet by any means. Believers should lie to the people of the book to protect their lives and religion.”
This is a religion that supports and promotes lying!!
13. We Must Uncrate The Muslim Human Rights Issue.
Since Israel has become a nation in 1948, 7th Century Islam has been on the rise and along with this growth and influence in the world, so has the lack of human rights!
A Muslim’s sense of value doesn’t come by recognition of God’s love, but by submission to God’s law.
Our Declaration of Independence proclaims that human beings, male and female, including children, are blesses with rights and one of those rights is the right to be treated humanly and respectfully!
Democracy and human rights go hand in hand. It’s like saying “wet water”. But these principles are predominately a western idea!
Newsweek did an interesting article on this problem in Muslims countries. It documented the 5 worst countries as Saudi Arabia, Libya, Syria and Iraq. It states that in 7 other countries as having only a few human rights. And Turkey is the most humane, but not idea compared to non-Muslim countries.
Key: Not even 1 of 55 Muslim nations could be elevated to “Idea”! …Newsweek, December 2001
These countries are some of the richest nations in the world!
Saudi Arabia’s unemployment rate is over 30%. This is why the Wahhabist sect of Islam (17th century radical Muslim) is exporting terrorist by the 1000’s - because if there’s no job why not die for Allah and get my 70 virgins and drink all the wine you want?
And then we have another cancer to the Muslim’s human rights problem and that is the Palestinian Refuge Camps.
The Palestinian refuge camps are the longest-standing camps of their kind in the world and the only ones where the children and grand children of those camps have ever been considered refugees.
These camps keep people boxed in and trapped as prisoners held by their own brothers! And these camps in Israel are not just Israel’s problem, but more of the burden falls on the Arab states!
These living conditions that these Palestinians are living in are terrible! But their own brothers in surrounding countries don’t do very much to end this mess. Yasser Arafat has been the major contributor to this problem.
It’s as if these camps have become incubators for terrorists. Incubation centers of “H-bombs”. Human bombs that these refugees have become over the past 20 years for Yasser Arafat!
It’s as if the Arabs nations are abusing their own people because of their hatred for the Jews in Israel. They need to give their people real homes and real jobs with real hope!
These nations continue to prove to the world that Islam cannot guarantee certain inalienable rights to its citizens!
Slavery is still a problem in many Muslim nations.
Fact: In Saudi Arabia, slavery was legal until 1970. In Muslim Sudan, slavery was legal until 1991. But that hasn’t stopped anyone! The Christian’s there are fighting for their survival over this issue with the Muslims. Muslims are butchering Christian men and taking the women and children as slaves!
It’s legitimate because it’s not slave trading, but just slave taking in these countries. After all they are just following their leader!
In the United States we had a Civil War that killed thousands of men over this issue and settled this evil for us. In the 3-day battle at Gettysburg - 51,000 soldiers were killed.
Abraham Lincoln said in that great address on November 19, 1863…
“Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can endure.We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live…”
I ask: In what Muslim country has there ever been just a minor civil disobedience – let alone a war to settle this evil? And yet we have Louis Farrakhan condemning America while his own religion is biggest force – That’s what I call the “mother of all ironies!!!”
