What does God think, when He thinks about you?
Psalms 40:17
We are all often concerned with what people think. If they don’t like us it worries us, if they don’t like our clothes it concerns us, if they don’t like our car, we get a new one, people are worried about what others think. Can I tell you today that we must be worried about what God thinks! He is thinking about you right now, but what does He think!?! I want to share with you a few things today that I hope God thinks about us.
I. I hope when He thinks about us that He thinks of us as Workers!
We need old fashioned workers, the Bible calls them Laborers! God wants us working, some people have petitioned God for un - employment, they are out of work, sitting back, but we must labor together!
a. Working for God means telling Good news!
b. Working for God causes the Church to Grow!
* People will do anything to grow! Listen to this story**
c. Working for God causes Great things!
II. I hope when He thinks about us that He thinks of us as Worshippers!
What is worship?
a. We know it is something we should do
b. It is something we should love
c. It is something that should affect us!
* Allows the Spirit to move
* Allows the songs to motivate
* Allows the Scripture to become meaningful
III. I hope when He thinks about us that He thinks of us as Warriors!
a. Fight the Right Battle
b. Fight for the Right Beliefs
c. Fight with the Right
IV. I hope that when He thinks about us that He thinks of us as Winners!
