Summary: Often we as one person we do not think we can make a difference when in reality we can be Difference Makers in our world.

Difference Makers

You Can Make a Difference

Many times because we are one person we think we can’t make a big difference in life.

God has a plan for your life and you can make a difference.

John 4:13 (KJV) Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:

John 4:14 (KJV) But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

John 4:28-29 (KJV) The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, 29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

John 4:39 (KJV) And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.

John 4:40 (KJV) So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.

John 4:41 (KJV) And many more believed because of his own word;

John 4:42 (KJV) And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

This woman had no doubt experienced such radical change it got the attention of the people.

The greatest witness we could ever be is to let others see our change.

“One Woman Made A Difference”

Noah is “one man” that made a big difference.

Gen 6:5 (KJV) And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Gen 6:6 (KJV) And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Gen 6:7 (KJV) And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Gen 6:8 (KJV) But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Gen 6:9 (KJV) These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

You can make a difference……

1. in your family.

Living a life of integrity and faithfulness to God influences your family.

Prov 22:1 (NLT) Choose a good reputation over great riches, for being held in

high esteem is better than having silver or gold.

Prov 20:7 (KJV) The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed

after him.

Character is not developed in crisis, it is revealed.

God selected Noah to build the ark because his walk said he could handle the

task.

He acting alone not only saved himself and his children but gave us a shot at life

today.

2. in the world we live in today.

We are God’s answer for a hurting world!!!!!!!!

Mat 24:42 (KJV) Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth

come.

(AMP) Watch therefore and give strict attention, be cautious and active….

Active = To be constantly engaged in action with forward motion, Pursue business with passion, zeal and energy, Disposition to move with speed

Luke 2:49 Jesus said I must be about my Father’s business.

3. in future generations.

Illustration: Young boy observed a man well

in his 80’s planting an apple orchard and said

you will never live long enough to eat any apples

from these trees. The old man replied, someone

will.

Your influence should outlive you.

My children are the sermons I will preach to

generations I will never meet.

The earth today still benefits from Noah’s life.

“It’s our time right now to make a difference in

our world”.

4. at any age.

Jonah was 600, Jesus fed thousands with the

loaves and fish of a boy

What made Jonah different?

• He had a heart for God.

• He wasn’t afraid to stand alone.

• He wasn’t afraid to do something for the

first time.

Prov 28:1 (KJV) The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

Gen 7:1 (KJV) And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
