SIGNS OF THE TIMES!
(Mat 24:3 KJV) And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
I believe that we are living in the last days before the great coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. I am not looking for the ‘undertaker but for the upper taker’. No one knows the day or the hour but the Word is filled with the signs of His return.
I. RESTORATION OF THE NATION OF JEWS. (Mat 24:32 KJV) Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: (Mat 24:33 KJV) So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
A. Israel is now a nation.
II. NATION WILL RISE AGAINST NATION, KINGDOM AGAINST KINGDOM. (Mat 24:7 KJV) For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. (Mat 24:8 KJV) All these are the beginning of sorrows.
A. Never has there a time when there are more wars going on as now.
III. THERE WILL BE FAMINES IN VARIOUS PLACES. (Mark 13:8 KJV) For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
A. Half of the world is overweight and yet half of the world is starving.
IV. THERE WILL BE PESTILENCES. (Luke 21:11 KJV) And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
A. We see this happening more and more.
V. PERVERTED SEXUAL RELATIONSHIPS. (Luke 17:28 KJV) Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
(2 Tim 3:2 KJV) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (2 Tim 3:4 KJV) Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
A. The morals of the nations keep declining.
VI. PEOPLE WILL BECOME: (2 Tim 3:1 KJV) This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. (2 Tim 3:2 KJV) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (2 Tim 3:3 KJV) Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, (2 Tim 3:4 KJV) Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God: (2 Tim 3:5 KJV) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

P. NOT LOVERS OF GOOD

S. LOVERS OF PLEASURES.
VII. VIOLENCE AND CORRUPTION: (Gen 6:11 KJV) The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
A. Murder at every hand.
VIII. GOSPEL WILL BE PREACHED IN THE WHOLE WORLD.
(Mat 24:14 KJV) And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

IX. BROTHER BETRAYS BROTHER.
(Mat 10:21 KJV) And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
(Mark 13:12 KJV) Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
A. Never before, have we heard of so many murders within families.
X. HEAVEN AND EARTH WITH BE CONTAIMINATED. (Isa 51:6 KJV) Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
A. All we hear is ‘global warming’ or ‘global freezing’.
XI. PEOPLE WILL LOVEROF ENTERTAINMENTS, MONEY MAKING AND BE CONSTRUCTION EVERY WHERE. (Luke 17:28 KJV) Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
A. TV, Internet, MTV, Music, Films and Sports.
XII. TIME OF DECEIVING SPIRITS. (1 Tim 4:1 KJV) Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
A. This is why there are so many cults and false doctrines.
XIII. BLASPHEMERS OF GOD.
(2 Tim 3:2 KJV) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, …….
A. You hear the Name of God and the Lord Jesus Christ cursed but I do not hear the name of Buddha or Mohammad.
1. The devil hates and fears the Name of the Lord.
XIV. MANY WILL COME SAYING THEY ARE CHRIST. (1 John 2:18 KJV) Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
(Mat 24:5 KJV) For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
(Mat 24:23 KJV) Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
A. The spirit of antichrist is seen through the media and films.
XV. CHURCH WOULD BECOME LUKEWARM. (Rev 3:16 KJV) So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
A. Many churches have substituted the Board Room for the Upper Room, The Board room works on problems but the Upper Room solved their problems.
B. They now have soup suppers, tea parties and chicken dinners in place of the prayer meeting.
1. They have in the mean time become as ‘weak as their tea’, ‘cold as their soup’ and as ‘dead as the chicken they eat’.
2. God does us not to have the fireplace to heat our ‘Board Room’ but to have the fire of the Holy Spirit.
XVI. FAST TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT. (Dan 12:4 KJV) But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
A. I can preach in London, England in the morning and in New York the same day. We have done it.
XVII. THE ILLUSION OF PEACE. (1 Th 5:2 KJV) For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. (1 Th 5:3 KJV) For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
A. There will be not peace until Jesus brings peace.
B. I heard Billy Graham once say, “ The way you can bring world peace is to make peace with God first yourself.’
XVIII. THE NUMBER ‘666’ WILL BE REALVED. (Rev 13:16 KJV) And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: (Rev 13:17 KJV) And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (Rev 13:18 KJV) Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
A. Everything now has a bar code one it.
1. Check the value of the two unmarked bars that starts ends and has it in the middle. It value is 6.
2. It then looks like everything we buy or sell has bar code (number) on it.
XIX. AN OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. (Joel 2:29 KJV) And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
A. God is no respecter of persons.
XX. DISASTERS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD, SIGNS IN THE HEAVEN. (Luke 21:25 KJV) And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
A. We hear of disasters everyday
XXI. CONTAIMINATION DISTROYING THE EARTH. (Rev 11:18 KJV) And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
A. We were on our way to Eastern Europe when Chervil happened.
XXII. NUCLEAR WEAPONS DISTROYING THE EARTH. (2 Pet 3:10 KJV) But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
A. Nations are stock pilling bombs.
XXIII. THE RETURN OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF. (Mat 24:30 KJV) And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
(1 Th 4:16 KJV) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: (1 Th 4:17 KJV) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
(1 Cor 15:50 KJV) Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
(1 Cor 15:51 KJV) Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, (1 Cor 15:52 KJV) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1 Cor 15:53 KJV) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (1 Cor 15:54 KJV) So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. (1 Cor 15:55 KJV) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? (1 Cor 15:56 KJV) The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
