Summary: Without the tug at the heart its impossible to be saved.

THE TUG CAN SAVE YOU

Rev 22:17

17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

John 6:37

37 All that the Father giveth me * shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

*Have you discovered that God is a giving God?

He gave us the desire of His heart. (His commandants).

He gave His only begotten Son for our sins.

He gives us the desire of our hearts, if our desire is holy.

What about me. I’ve been on drugs. I’m an alcoholic. I’m a thief. I’m a prostitute. I’m a homosexual.

Did God send you to me? By His spirit God drew you. If that’s the case, I will never cast you away.

2 Peter 3:9

9 The Lord is not slack(slow or sluggish) concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

How can God love everybody? There are some pretty rotten people in this world.

Your right, and Paul says 1 Cor 6:11

11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

But you came to Jesus.

I want to talk about some people, by our way of thinking could never be saved.

David-an adulterer and murderer. On both accounts according to the Law should have been stoned. But he came to God.

Peter play it all the way, but when it came time to stand up and testify, he denied Christ.

How many people are playing the religion game today and when it comes time to take a stand, they deny Him.

That kind of game is going to get you into more trouble with God than if you never played at all.

Mark 16:7

7 But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

Peter found forgiveness because Jesus called him and he came.

He did not have to come. He could have perished in his sin, but coming saved him.

These two were guilty of sin and would have missed heaven had they not come to Christ when He dealt with their hearts.

But let me tell you about the plight of a good O’boy.

Mark 10:18-22

18 "Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good-except God alone. 19 You know the commandments: ’Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, do not defraud, honor your father and mother.’"

20 "Teacher," he declared, "all these I have kept since I was a boy."

21 Jesus looked at him and loved him. "One thing you lack," he said. "Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

22 At this the man’s face fell. He went away sad, because he had great wealth.

He had too many other interest. The price was too great to pay, not realizing the price he was going to pay for rejecting Christ.

Prov 16:25

25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

John 14:6

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Is the Spirit tugging at your heart right now? If it is, then God has chosen this time, this day for your salvation. Please don’t reject Him. You may never have another chance.
