Summary: Have we sold out to the name "Christian" and have forgotten that with Christ...is nothing but a name or word we use?

There are several loves in my life. My family; Kay, All The Kids Sissy, Nikki, Justin, Robert, and Lester....that's should be a given... Then there are the Grand kids; Tori, Madison, Kalli and Hanna and Aliana and Audrey....and No 7 Baby Girl that arrived 10/23/2013 at 8 lbs 10 oz...Braylee Elizabeth and our only grand son Trenton and there are the daughter in laws(they are more like daughters) Brandy and Katie and 2 son in laws...Chris and Scott....so all that too should be a given as well. Then there are the Grand pups and Cats...you have seen their pictures(don't tell any of them that I did not like Cats until Tixie and Rumba came along....)they are a given.

So what is not a given? What is not a given in your life?

Love is an emotion of strong affection and personal attachment.

Passion is a term applied to a very strong feeling about a person or thing. Passion is an intense emotion compelling feeling, enthusiasm, or desire for something. The term is also often applied to a lively or eager interest in or admiration for a proposal, cause, or activity or love - to a feeling of unusual excitement, enthusiasm or compelling emotion, a positive affinity or love, towards a subject, idea, person, or object.

Compassion Is a deep awareness of the suffering of another coupled with the wish to relieve it. See Synonyms at "pity". Jesus has compassion today for us all.

See I Love my family all of them, without exceptions; I love them! I am Passionate about them....I want NOTHING but the very best for them.....see them going after their dreams(not mine for them), see them reach their definition of success not mine, to see them seek their happiness.......but most of all, above everything else....to see them in a loving relationship with Jesus Christ. My Passion, My Love, My Prayers are they all would have HIM as their Lord of their Lives. I would do anything for our children, our Grand children....so who in your life do you feel that way about?

My passion is for Jesus Christ. "I have the right to remain silent about HIM" but I can't! I won't!

My Passion is HIS Church, HIS Family, HIS People, HIS Children, HIS Youth of today!

I must confess, I did not have these Passions in my early life, I did not have them in the early years as all the kids were growing up. I did not start getting them until must later.....some would say almost "too late". Don't get me wrong, I would have done anything for them before......but maybe because I was suppose to, not because of my passion?

I would have bought into that, that would have been easy to do, however that would have been listening to the wrong voice or voices.....which voice(s) would you have listened too, or more strongly which voice would you have been?

Ok, where am I going with this Church?

We say we are "Christian" (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/fd/En-us-Christian.ogg)but is that just a word we have learned from others to throw around?

Maybe it makes us feel better to say we are "Christian"? But you must ask yourself, what does it mean?

Have we narrowed all Jesus Christ has done down to a word?

We say we love HIM? We say HE is our Savior?

But then with all HE has Done for us, all HE continues to do for us, where is the passion?

Are we Really willing to do anything for HIM?

Are we really following HIM or this word "Christian"?

Don't(PLEASE)don't take this as another time to let that voice tell you are not measuring up.....ok? Jesus loves us all, HE wants that relationship with us....HE Loves Us so Much, HE wants to spend Eternity with us......HIS Passion Is Us, Is You! HIS Passion Is Also for those folks we don't love or forgive.....

No matter what, we are to have a passion for HIM and HIS wishes, To follow HIM, To Love HIM.

Do you Love HIM? Are You just going through the motions? Turn To Jesus!

Then there is that word compassion. I got this burn, this ache, this hurt, this new emotion for these things,HIS Church, HIS Family, HIS People, HIS Children, HIS Youth of today! All the lost and lonely people....walking around like this is the best it gets?

Church; you have seen them....Church we have been them....Walking around like we are auditioning for the "Walking Dead" or "Zombie Land 2"...and no one seems to notice or care. We are walking down the street carrying all they have left sometimes in their cold empty hearts....and who cares?

See Christ gave us this gift and we are keeping it to ourselves, sitting on it? If our friends were drowning would we just stand there and do nothing? Would we not help them, throw them a line, a rope, a hand?
