"our Wonderful Christ!"

Summary: Isaiah, announcing Jesus’ birth, said HIS name would be called “Wonderful!” According to dictionaries, the word wonderful means… “Marvelous, Excellent”
I
Yes….. He is Wonderful. He is Marvelous. He is Excellent. He is Amazing.
I. Jesus was wonderful in His LIFE.
Jesus was tempted in every way that we’re all tempted, yet He refused to yield.
II. Jesus was wonderful in His DEATH.
Jesus endured the suffering and shame of that cross to pay for our sins.
III. Jesus was wonderful in His RESURRECTION.
Jesus came out of that grave, giving every child of God the hope of victory.
“MY HOPE IS BUILT ON NOTHING LESS, THAN JESUS BLOOD AND RIGHTEOUSNESS;
I DARE NOT TRUST THE SWEETEST FRAME, BUT WHOLLY LEAN ON JESUS’ NAME.
ON CHRIST THE SOLID ROCK I STAND, ALL OTHER GROUND IS SINKING SAND.”
