Summary: The grace of God is always present and always sufficient, but sometimes we forget our need for his grace and we do not rediscover it until we are faced with circumstances beyond our control.

2 Co 12:6-10

Vs 9 (My Grace is sufficient for thee, and my strength is made perfect in weakness)

I believe that we in America are in a time of rediscovery

Discover:

Find, To see, to recognize. Get to know or become aware of . identify, uncover, comprehend

We are rediscovering: (the value of life) (how much we need each other) (prayer)

(what made our nation great was not our money, our military or our might, but our God)

We are one nation under God

It doesn’t matter if you’re black or white, brown or yellow, Pentecostal, presbyterian, baptist or methodist, We can clasp hands and kneel down together and call upon our God

We are rediscovering what Paul had learned and what we had forgotten

1Co 15:10 By the Grace of God I am what I am.

America America God shed his Grace on thee, and crown thy good with brotherhood, from sea to shining sea.

The Grace of God is the greatest thing that can happen to a person or a nation. America is rediscovering the grace of God through brokenness, We are once again on our knees, and that is the only way to receive the grace of God.

He giveth grace to the humble

(1Pet 5:5 ) God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

G.R.A.C.E. = Gods Riches At Christs Expense

Eph 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

That simple statement takes in everything that God did, To bring us into his family,

Every thing that he did through Christ: it includes, His betrayal, his crucifixion, his death, his burial, and his triumphant resurrection, and his ascension,

It was the grace of God that made it all available, and it is through faith that we enter into or access that Grace.

(Ro 5:1-2) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:( 2) By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

When Paul knew he was leaving, his dear friends and brothers and sisters in the Lord, he put them in the best care available,.

(Acts 20:32 ) And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

It is the Grace of God:

•We have a president who has pointed this nation to God in prayer

•That thousands more who could have died, didn’t

•That those towers collapsed instead of falling over

•That what was meant to divide and destroy, has actually served to unify and empower.

Ro 5:20 where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

There is no question, that sin is abounding in the world today, But The Glorious news is: that wherever and whenever and however sin abounds,.

The Grace of God always has and always will much more abound.

Paul had learned the secret (Gods Grace is sufficient)

Sufficient = be enough. to be strong. to be possessed of unfailing strength

To raise upwards, to elevate.

There’s Grace for

Running, Walking, Grace for standing still. Grace for taking hold & Grace for letting go

There’s Grace for speaking up & Grace for shutting up. There’s Grace for fighting & there’s grace for refraining from fighting. There’s Grace for preaching & Grace for praying. There’s Grace for going to sleep at night and Grace for waking up in the morning. There’s Grace for living & there’s Grace for dying. There’s Grace for serving and Grace for being served.

Whatever the need is The Grace of God is sufficient

No wonder Paul told timothy

2 Tim 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

Child of God Rediscover grace today

quit trying to do it on your own

admit your weakness and trust in his strength and you will rediscover his grace is sufficient.
