Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; (15) And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Satan had the power of death and hell. He held sway over mankind. ( the word ’hell’ as used in this note refers to hades-the place of the dead, the grave, NOT gehenna or the lake of fire!)

Yashua came to destroy the works of the devil. Yashua came to destroy death for the believer also! He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

He had to die to conquer death!

If He could not rise again then He was defeated and all hope was lost! And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. (18) Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. (19) If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

BUT HE ROSE AGAIN!!! But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

Yashua had to take authority over death and hell before He could have resurrected! He HAD to take the keys!

The devil had the keys of death and the grave.

The devil had control.

Yashua died and ENTERED that territory..the realm of the dead where the devil had power and control!

The devil had the keys and you can bet that he would have dearly loved to keep Yashua there!

The devil had the ultimate prize within his realm of authority but could not keep HIM there!

Not him not his officers, not his henchmen, not his demons, not his devils, not all hell could hold Yashua down!

They thought they had a dead one but found Him to be very much alive!

Not only was He a live one...He was the personification of RESURRECTION! HE WAS the RESURRECTION!

The devil tried to exercise control but FAILED!

Yashua conquered and because He conquered He AROSE!

He AROSE having broken death’s back!

He AROSE with the keys of death and hell in His grasp, triumphant over death and the devil!

He AROSE with eternal life...RESURRECTION LIFE tried, tested and triumphant!

RESURRECTION LIFE...the life that conquered death!

He stands ready to dispense that life...RESURRECTION LIFE!!! any one who believes in Him! Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

That life...RESURRECTION LIFE! That life can be ours. Yashua wants us to have that life, to live that life, and allow that life to swallow up death in us! Death is swallowed up in victory! So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. (55) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? (56) The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. (57) But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

That life...RESURRECTION the abundant life He’s why He came! ... I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

When the shout comes

When the archangel’s voice is heard

When the trumpet sounds

an irresistible tug will be felt by every or dead!

Every atom of our mortal bodies will be changed.

Corruptible shall put on incorruption!

Mortal shall put on immortality

The scattered dead in Christ will reassemble in less time than it takes to blink your eye!

We shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye!

Resurrection will swallow up death!

That resurrection life is NOW in us, the believers!

Tested, Tried, Proven, Victorious, All Conquering!

Do NOT let your trial discourage you!

Do not let criticism get you down!

Do not let the world fill you with hardness and unbelief!

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (38) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, (39) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
