Rev.16: #53~1-12~pt.3 GODS GREAT WRATH POURS OUT 5-8-10

Today we’ll continue here in chapter 16: talking about “the bowl judgments”, these are the final and most intense of the horrors that are coming on the earth dwellers, these bowl judgments climax with the return of the Lord Jesus Christ as He defeats His enemies at the battle of Armageddon.

Let me remind us that there are 3 sets of judgments that we’re told about to do with the Tribulation.

There are the 7 seals, the 7 trumpets and the 7 bowl judgments, with the bowl judgments being the most intense and painful and horrific.

~~ We left off I believe it was in verse 12 talking about the “GREAT RIVER EUPHRATES” but we’re in no hurry~~

Ø Lets read over these verses and try to hook back up.

1And I heard a great voice**{GOD} out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways,**{different duties} and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

2And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.**

3And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

4And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. {not as blood, but blood, all fresh water, drinking water}

5And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, (is) and wast, {always has been} and shalt be, {forevermore} because thou hast judged thus.

6For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. {Notice; it’s God that gives them blood to drink and its because of the saints and Prophets they have killed, they martyred}

7And I heard another {VOICE} out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

This voice is likely the tribulation Martyrs that were calling out from under the Altar back in chapter 6:9-11 when they cried out for vengeance, remember this is the day of vengeance, the day of grace as we think of it is over, but let me say that there will be people saved in the Tribulation that never heard the truth before the rapture, they were left behind when the rapture happened back in chapter 4: but there will be multitudes that will be saved when they hear the preaching of the Jewish missionaries**{144000} that we read about back in chapter 7:

The True Church is not on earth in any part of the Tribulation, we’ll be taken off the scene, we’re safe in Christ Jesus, He is our Ark, and the flood waters so to speak of the Tribulation can never touch us.

Ø A good way to understand this is to recall that God told Noah back in

Genesis 7:1 & 16 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come** thou and all thy house into the ark;--- 16And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in. **--Notice; God told Noah and his family to come in.

Verse 1-And the LORD said unto Noah, Come** thou and all thy house into the ark;---

Gen.7:verse 1 God told Noah to “come inside” this reveals to us that God was in the Ark as HE spoke. And verse 16 tells us that God closed the door, HE shut Noah and Noah’s family in, NOTICE; God closed the door, it wasn’t Noah that closed the door, it was God.

Let me say that Noah or any member of his family possible could have fell down inside the Ark but they could never fell out, it was impossible to get out, and let me say that no one else could get in, and the reason why is because God shut the door.

Are you IN CHRIST? If so you’re safe.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now**no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,

We’re in the family into which we were born physically, and we’ll always be in this same family, we may change our name or even move to the other side of the world but we’ll always remain in the family we were born in, the DNA will be there, have you been born again of the Holy Spirit? If you have then you’re a member of Gods royal family.

And let me say, if your not you can still enter by the DOOR, its still not too late.
