Summary: Eyes that see and marvel at the excellence, pomp and grandeur of this world; alas, has failed to recognize the glory of God and His power!

See the power of God!

Exodus 14:22”And the people of Israel went into the midst of the sea on dry ground, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left. 23 The Egyptians pursued and went in after them into the midst of the sea….”

Eyes that see and marvel at the excellence, pomp and grandeur of this world; alas, has failed to recognize the glory of God and His power! Eyes pop out and with open jaws people gap at the new iphone6 and would go to any level to get the latest electronic gadget and that includes skipping church on Sundays and working 24x7 giving no room for God. Are you listening? When was the last time you sat awed at the beauty of the Lord and His magnificence? When was the last time you wept at His feet for all the glorious things that He has done in your life? Tell me. We have ignored God and we have put the things of the Lord on the upper shelf because we have failed to grasp His power! We think our abilities, talents, hard work, astute and dexterous insurance planning and business planning would keep us going; do not be deceived, when we depend on our resources rather than on God that is where we fail drastically. Jesus warned, ‘if we do not have a strong foundation and if our life is built on sand, then great would be our fall!” (Mathew 7:26, 27)

King Pharaoh who pursued the Israelites with his 600 chosen chariots failed to see the power of God that divided the Red sea, which stood like a wall on the right and to the left ! Imagine water standing like wall on either side of the Red sea with dry path to walk right in the middle of the sea; yet, the pagan monarch Pharaoh failed to see the awesome glory of the Lord! His eyes were on his majestic 600 chariots! He trusted his horses to save him, he dared to go after the Israelites into the midst of the sea not knowing the power of Jehovah! The Bible says in: Exodus 14:28” The waters returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen; of all the host of Pharaoh that had followed them into the sea, not one of them remained.” Not one of them remained! Caveat! Focus your eyes on God rather than allowing it to rove around the lust of this world! The catchy advertisement allures you to take an EMI loan on your credit card to buy a bigger, slicker and whacky screen to view movies! Don’t fall for the deception! They call it easy loans, who said paying back loans is easy? Be alert! Be content! Taking multiple EMI loans takes you deeper and deeper into unhappiness!

When I shared the miraculous healing that I received through the birth of my son Joshua with an elderly person and glorified God, he smugly replied that all women go through problems during delivery and for few it may be extreme and my miracle was no big deal; he dismissed my healing as just a coincidence. Sadly he was not able to see God in my miracle!

I am speaking to someone out there today! I have shared the Gospel interwoven with my numerous testimonies with you each day; yet for few, the doubts, fear and worries still linger on! Some feel ‘such’ miracles happen only for the selected few, that is wrong notion, you have failed to grasp the power of God in the miracle, instead of reading my testimonies as an interesting incident or an excellent piece of writing, please do see the power of God!
