Do everything without grumbling or arguing. - Philippians 2:14

Having mercy, gentleness, and meekness with each other as believers in the Lord is important. Especially when there is not a face to face conversation one cannot understand a person's tone well so be extra careful to show forth your tone to people to ensure you are not accusing or speaking angrily. By default at times we can be over-sensitive and be hurt by someone who was just intending to show their way of understanding a truth. We must learn to communicate in love as fellow believers and heirs of the grace of God. The Apostle Paul encourages the Philippian Church to not grumble against each other or argue in anyway. If we grumble we are not content with another person or situation, and are considering ourselves more important then others. If we argue we are fighting to make sure we are first and better then others. In both cases it is the self-life trying to find superiority over others and usually that means hurting others.

This is the way the world goes forward is by stepping on others and hurting them. But as believers in our Lord we are to love each other, prefer each other better then ourselves. Uplift each other and be happy when someone else is promoted and more successful then yourself. Christian life is like a team sport, it is not as important if we are successful but that the entire team is successful. Such a mindset will allow us to say no to our own selfish ambitions and do things for the sake of the Lord and the greater body of Christ. When we argue and hold grudges we are giving the devil a foothold and opportunity to bring division (Ephesians 4:27). Where there is division, backbiting and sectarianism we can know that we are not walking in the Spirit. What a joyful life to be able to do everything with thankfulness and seeking peace in every situation. Part of seeking peace and not arguing is allowing someone to be right even when they are wrong. We bless others not to curse them or leave them to the judgment of God, such is never love. We bless others so that they can truly be better and grow in the ways of the Lord.
