    When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, "I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless. (Genesis 17:1)

    God's not only Elohim (Creator) and Jehovah (God of Covenant Promises), He's also El Shaddai, the God whose power will violate nature/ His creation to fulfill those promises. That's how God revealed Himself to Abram.
