    In 1 Corinthians there was an atmosphere of chaos and so the apostle Paul writes a letter. And in that letter he reminds them of the focal point of what he taught them when he was there and that is, "Jesus Christ and Him crucified." Is that all they need?

    Knowing Jesus is enough to give the foundation for us to give thanks in difficult circumstances. The future will bring great difficulties for the people who experience it; knowing Jesus is their only foundation for hope.
