Jesus' Divinity was shown in the healing of a man on the Sabbath Day (John 5:16) and declaring Himself equal with God (John 5:17-18). The religious authorities sought to kill Him yet should have honored Him. Their failure to do so condemned them. Don't make that mistake.

The Scriptures tell of the authority and power the Lord Jesus has over His creation and the affairs of humanity. The four gospels present what Jesus said and did to demonstrate to those who were willing to truly hear and see that He was the fulfillment of prophecy and the One who was the ...read more

So far in the book of John, we've read about how Jesus is the lamb of God, the preexistent one, the savior of the world. He is also God. Now, how can Jesus be God, and the Father be God? Are there two ...read more

The Son’s Authority of Life and Judgment John 5:24-29 Sometimes we use the expression, “It’s a matter of life and death” when it really isn’t. But in John 5:24, Jesus explains that to believe in Him and EVERYTHING that the Bible conveys about Him as the Eternal ...read more
