    "for ye have not passed this way heretofore." Joshua’s officers were saying to the Israelites, "You’re about to take a journey to where you’ve never been before. You’re about to go down a road that is new to you.

    It's all pretty strange territory for us, but Muhammad seems to be trying to show his awareness of Scripture by mentioning Bible names, then attaching weird narratives to them. Interesting, but so clearly contrived.
