    based on 26 ratings

Through our naked eyes, we could only see our wretchedness and hopelessness, but through the eyes of faith, we could clearly see God’s wonderful working.

<PRE> A man of faith is a man of prayer, and a man of prayer is doubtless a powerful servant of God. Jehoshaphat was a man of faith and prayer. Through his faith, God displayed His power in the midst of Judah and beyond. He also led many people to walk in the path of righteousness by more

  • Point Of View

Contributed by James May on Dec 31, 2005

What Point of View do you have as you look into the New Year? Do you see only through the eyes of flesh, or can you also see through the eyes of the Spirit?

POINT OF VIEW By Pastor Jim May As we step into the New Year there are many questions that come to mind. The whole of mankind is seeking for answers to their questions. They are looking through what Paul described in 1 Corinthians 13:12 as a dark glass, as though we are trying to see into the more

  • Reading Light, Leading Light Series

Contributed by Alison Bucklin on Nov 23, 2022

People see the world from different angles. I’d like to suggest that the Holy Spirit gives us Christ’s perspective. We need to start seeing the world through Christ-colored glasses, which is not the same as rose-colored glasses. Jesus saw compassionately, but he also saw clearly and realistically.

How many of you own a flashlight? I probably have half a dozen, and most of them have dead batteries in them. I’d be lost without the flashlight app on my smart phone, because it’s always charged. It works. It helps me see where I’m going. It is, to use Jesus’ word, healthy. I think you can all more

  • Be Led By Jesus

Contributed by Richard Papafio on Nov 25, 2017

The blind man sees through the eyes of the one leading him. But the one who is not blind sees through His own eyes. Therefore the blind man leans on the understanding of he who leads him but the one who sees leans on his own understanding.
