There are those today whose lives are vicious cycles of ups and downs. When a blessing comes, it doesn’t last long. You almost feel as if no matter what you get, you’ll eventually lose it. If that’s you I want you to know that God wants you to prosper. But there is a reason why things seem to be going downhill. It’s a matter of choices. Joshua had the right perspective when he said:

Josh 24:14-15

14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.

15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

(KJV)

People, there is a real devil out here who wants to steal, kill, and destroy you and everything about you.

The key to your prosperity is “Setting the Boundary”.

(KJV)

What did Joshua have in mind when he made that statement? I believe that the following pages are of vital importance to everyone who is having a problem maintaining prosperity. I believe that we must learn what Joshua learned and do what Joshua did. Follow me, please to Deuteronomy 11:26.

Deut 11:26-32

26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;

27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:

28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

29 And it shall come to pass, when the LORD thy God hath brought thee in unto the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.

30 Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh?

Did you hear what God said in verse 30? " Are ’THEY’ not on the other side?"

What is God talking about? I believe that God is saying that He is permanently putting in place something that will always require "YOU" setting a boundary between what He has to offer and Satan. Let’s see. Go to the next verse, verse 31.

31 For ye shall pass over Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God giveth you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell therein.

32 And ye shall observe to do all the statutes and judgments which I set before you this day.

(KJV)

God wants you prosperous! There is only one thing between you and prosperity; and it’s not the devil. The one thing between you and prosperity is found in Deuteronomy 11:26.

Deut 11:26

26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;

(KJV)

The one thing between you and prosperity is your learning to set a boundary between the curses and blessings set before us. God wants us to continually show that we are able to set a boundary between the plan that He has for us and that which Satan offers. Let’s read and learn the importance of “Setting the Boundary”. Let’s begin at the beginning.

God left a tree in the midst of the Garden of Eden. Right?

Gen 2:9

9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
