Mark 1:40 And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling

down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me

clean. 41 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand,

and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean. 42 And

as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from

him, and he was cleansed

Luke 5:12 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man

full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him,

saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 13 And he put

forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And

immediately the leprosy departed from him.

1. The Lepers condition. vs2 a leper

Lev 13:45 And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be

rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his

upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean. 46 All the days

wherein the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is

unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his

habitation be.

Num 5:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Command the

children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and

every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the

dead: 3 Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp

shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst

whereof I dwell.

2. The Lepers confession make me clean

At least he knew he was a leper

Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world,

and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men,

for that all have sinned:

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves,

and the truth is not in us.

I'm not talking about the original sin, or being born into sin, I'm

talking about how the world has influenced us, instead of us

influencing the world

3. The Lepers conviction Lord, worshipped Him , thou canst make me

Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is

manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22

Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ

unto all and upon all them that believe:

No name it and claim it. God answers prayer when it's for our good

and His glory. If it's not, He won't

John 9:1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from

his birth. 2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin,

this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? 3 Jesus answered,

Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of

God should be made manifest in him.

4. The Lord's compassion vs3 touched him

Jesus didn't just speak the words or tell the leper to go and wash in

the pool of slalom, He Touched him.

1 John 4:8 tells us God is love and again in

1 John 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the

Son to be the Saviour of the world. 15 Whosoever shall confess

that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in

God. 16 And we have known and believed the love that God

hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in

God, and God in him.

Heb 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched

with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted

like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly

unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find

grace to help in time of need.
