I Cor. 12:7-11,28

I. Some Christians are given . . .

Divine Wisdom (v8)

But all Believers are called . .

To live wisely.

Romans 16:19, Ephesians 5:15, Colossians 4:5

II. Some Christians are given . . .

Extraordinary Faith (v9)

But all Believers are called . . .

a. Walk by faith 2 Cor. 5:7

b. To abound in faith 2 Cor. 8:7

c. To take up the sheild of faith Eph. 6:16

III. Some Christians are given . . .

Special Teaching gifts (v28, Rom 12:7)

But all Believers are called . . .

a. To teach others the truths of God Matt. 28:20, 2 Tim 2:2&24

IV. Some Christians are given . . .

Supernatural ability to help (v.28)

But all Believers are called . . .

a. To serve one another in love. Gal. 5:13

b. To minister to others. Rom 12:7

V. Some Christians are given . . .

The gift of exhortation

But all Believers are called . . .

a. To exhort one another daily. Heb. 3:13

VI. Some Christians are given . . .

The ability to give with liberality Rom. 12:8

But all Believers are called . . .

a. To give "not grudgingly or of necessity", but cheerfully.

VII. Some Christians are given . . .

Divine Power to show mercy (Rom 12:8)

But all Believers are called . . .

a. To be merciful. Luke 6:36. James 2:13

Conclusion: Whether God has given you divine gifts or not, everyone is called to be responsible. Read and study to show yourself approved, a workman that need not be ashamed.
