Summary: This simple message lifts up the name of Christ and reminds us why we need Jesus so desperately each day.

T-Shirt Preacher “Ya’ll Need Jesus”

Ya’ll Need Jesus because: (Phil 2:6-11)

Who, being in very nature God,

did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;

7 rather, he made himself nothing

by taking the very nature of a servant,

being made in human likeness.

8 And being found in appearance as a man,

he humbled himself

by becoming obedient to death—

even death on a cross!

9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place

and gave him the name that is above every name,

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,

in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,

to the glory of God the Father.

Unconditional love

A love that is rarely found in our world

A love that is more than words, actions

A love demonstrated in the prodigal son

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

Jesus was sent as Savior.

She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21

If our greatest need had been information, God would have sent us an educator.

If our greatest need had been technology, God would have sent us a scientist.

If our greatest need had been money, God would have sent us an economist.

If our greatest need had been pleasure, God would have sent us an entertainer.

But our greatest need was forgiveness, so God sent us a Savior. (Max Lucado)

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45

Man was created to have fellowship with God. (Eden)

Sin has broken that fellowship and created a chasm between man and God.

The law was unable to truly bridge that chasm.

Our attempts to restore that relationship are fruitless.

Jesus is the perfect remedy.

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6

John 10:10 I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly.

If someone from another planet were able to visit our world and had the task of expressing what life is all about what might they say?

i am not sure, there are many different possibilities. I did search of yahoo answers to see how people responded when asked what the meaning of life is. Here are their responses:

I don't think there is one. I think it's all just a series of incredible, beautiful, and meaningless coincidences, which we might as well enjoy.

We're here to make the Earth better for the people after us. To show equality. To love everyone, no matter what. To do the best we can and be the best we can be until maybe one day this world will be as close as it can be to perfect.

To catalogue the human experience. Like your brain uploads your experiences to a mainframe upon death. You are immortalized as the author of a chapter in a book in a huge library.

I don't think there is a specific meaning of life. Everyone has a different meaning, they just have to find it.

To be happy and at peace with yourself.

Jesus gives true, fulfilling, abundant life.

Jesus gives life that will last forever.

He is King

He has a kingdom

We shared in his death

We will share in his resurrection

We will reign with him.

He deserves all glory, praise, and honor and He will receive it!
