Have you ever been tangled up in something? I can remember as a child going fishing and not getting much fishing done. While others were busy catching fish, I was busy getting tangled up in the fishing line. I had the line in the trees, on the ground, and all over myself. Although I can look back and laugh at this experience, I think it relates very well to this life we live. Often times we find ourselfs tangled in sins, difficulties, financial troubles, relationship problems and the list goes on and on. And this all adds up to a life full of worry! I belive the first step to a life free from all this worry is to be untangled. so let's search the scriptures this morning and see how we can be untangled.

Main- Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

In this scripture we see a few things.

Liberty- Christ has made us free from the things that we often get entangled in. The scriptures tell us to stand in that freedom.

Limitations- The things that we get tangled in will always keep us in bonds. They hold us from that liberty.

John 8:31-36

Christ tells us again that in Him we have

Liberty

And everything else will only come with

Limitations

Stress and worry happens when we find ourselves entangled in the everyday day struggles of life. If we want to have this stress and worry lifted we must seek Christ for that freedom. He has given us liberty and instructed us to walk in it. Let's ask Him to lift these stresses and worries ad untangle us from the day to day challenges.
