THE ANOINTING BRINGS THE ATTACK

2 Sam 5:1-4
1 Then came all the tribes of Israel to David unto Hebron, and spake, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh.
2 Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel.
3 So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Israel.
4 David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.

2 Sam 5:17-19
17 But when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines came up to seek David; and David heard of it, and went down to the hold.
18 The Philistines also came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
19 And David inquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand.

2 Sam 5:22-25
22 And the Philistines came up yet again, and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
23 And when David inquired of the LORD, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.
24 And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall the LORD go out before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines.
25 And David did so, as the LORD had commanded him; and smote the Philistines from Geba until thou come to Gazer.

9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

*** If you are a child of god you have some type of calling on your life.
*** You may have a specific need that needs to be stirred up.
*** Like Jacob, you may be struggling with who you are.
*** You need to know that there is a place in god of yoke-breaking anointing.
Ps 133:1-3
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

Isa 10:27
27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

TIMELY TRUTHS
1. THE ANOINTING FLOWS FROM THE HEAD DOWN. HIS ANOINTING IS FLOWING, BUT WE MUST BE IN FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM.
2. THE ANOINTING WILL BE “AS THE DEW OF MT. HERMON” (PS. 133:VS.3) THE ISRAELITES KNEW THE DEW OF MT. HERMON AND MT. ZION WAS HEAVY EVEN IN DRY WEATHER.
3. THE ANOINTING WILL TAKE AUTHORITH OVER YOUR SITUATIONS. (PS. 133:3)
4. THE ANOINTING WILL LIFT BURDENS FROM OFF YOUR SHOULDER. (ISA. 10:27).
5. THE ANOINTING WILL TAKE AWAY YOKES THAT HAVE CAUSED YOU TO SAY AND DO THINGS AND GO PLACES YOU REALLY DIDN’T DESIRE (ISA. 10:27).
6. THE ANOINTING WILL DESTROY THE YOKE. IT ISN’T ENOUGH TO JUST LIFT THE YOKE FROM OFF YOUR NECK. IF YOU LEAVE A YOKE ENABLED IT CAN RESUME IT’S PREVIOUS POSITION ANYTIME. THE ANOINTING DISMANTLES EVERYTHING THAT SATAN HAS PLANNED IN YOUR LIFE.
