Summary: Talk about best atheletes. They fail forward until they succeed. God wants us to go forward through our failures to be all He would have us to be.
The Best Player In The Game
being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6 (NIV)
So What does God expect from Me?
I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians1:3-6
I. Prayer
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, Philippians 1:3
II. Partnership
I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him Colossians 3:17
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men Colossians 3:23
III. Play Until the End
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
