The End Times And You

Summary: We are in the end tines. This is a popular refrain in Christian circles and has been for ages. While some calculate and predict, others tell of visions and dreams of the end tines. The question is: Are you ready to meet your saviour?
TEXT: Matthew 24:12-13
"And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."
THE END TIMES
People have written so much about the end time, Christians and unbelievers alike have had dreams and visions about the end times, but still, evil persists and even expands as the love of many wax cold. Iniquity abounds everywhere and man's capacity for evil is only matched by Satan's determination to take as many as he can to hellfire with him. He will not take you with him in Jesus name. Evil will not be found in you. The mercy of God will locate you in Jesus name.
TEMPTATIONS ABOUND
The only way we can overcome Satan is by the blood of Jesus and the word of our testimony (Rev 12:11). Have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Are you redeemed by the blood of Jesus shed for you on the cross of Calvary? Temptations are everywhere, sin draws people like a magnet, the depth of hell expands to take more; it is only those that endure to the end that will be saved. God will strengthen you to endure to the end. The magnet of sin will not capture you. The blood of Jesus will avail for you in Jesus name.
ONLY GOD KNOWS WHEN
A lot of people spend time trying to calculate and predict when the endtime will come; it is futile to do such because Jesus himself does not know. He said in Matt. 24:36: “However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows." So why do we waste our time. The advice Jesus gave to us as disciples is to watch and pray.
ARE YOU READY TO MEET THE LORD
Acts 1:7 says: "And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power." Are you ready for the second coming of Christ? When the trumpet sounds will you be taken or left behind? Dreams and visions will not help you. Predicting the endtime and calculating dates will not help you. It is only your state of holiness that will enable you make it to heaven. Let us concentrate on things that matter. Your lifestyle on earth is what will determine your entrance to heaven. Your spiritual sensitivity and alertness is what will make you hear the sound of the trumpet. Be a doer of the word not a hearer only. Let the Holy Spirit guide you. Submit to him and you will be okay.
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Watch and pray. ONLY THOSE THAT ENDURE TO THE END SHALL BE SAVED.
PRAYER:
Father, please help me to live a life worthy of heaven in Jesus name. Whatever will distract me from my heavenly journey take away from me in Jesus name.
DECREE:
I am a citizen of heaven.
