John 3:16 The foundation of our faith.
GOD is __________
Fill in the blank
Love, right?
For God so LOVED the world.
GOD is, the GOD of love.
HE loves you and me and every human being that is, was and is to come.
HE loves HIS creation
HE loves the whole world.
Yet,
The whole world doesn’t love him
HIS creation, mankind denies his very existence and tries to explain that creation ‘happened’.
What then is the foundation principle here?
What is the foundation principle of our faith?
Is it...
GOD so loved? GOD’s LOVE?
Or
That HE gave? GOD GIVING?
His one and only Son? WHO HE GAVE BECAUSE OF HIS GREAT LOVE.
Whoever believes? HOW WE RECEIVE HIS GIVING AND FORGIVING.
JESUS IS THE FOUNDATION OF OUR FAITH, BUT THE FOUNDING FATHER OF OUR FAITH SHOWS US A FOUNDATION PRINCIPLE, WHICH IS THAT “HE GAVE OF HIMSELF”, SIMPLY PUT...
HE GAVE!
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
GOD's LOVE
Romans 8:31-39 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
HE LOVES, HE GIVES
John 3:35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
HE GIVES, HE LOVES
John 17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
HE GAVE US LOVE BY THE HOLY GHOST
Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
HE GIVES, NOW WE LOVE
John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
GOD LOVE A GIVER
2 Corinthians 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
HE LOVES AND GAVE HIMSELF
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
HE GIVES GRACE AS A GIFT
Ephesians 4:7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
HE LOVES AND GAVE HIMSELF
Ephesians 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
CHRIST LOVES THE CHURCH AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR IT
Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
HE LOVES AND HAS GIVEN US ETERNAL COMFORT AND HOPE

HE GAVE US HE SPIRIT OF POWER, LOVE AND A SOUND MIND

WE BELIEVE, WE LOVE, AS HE GAVE INSTRUCTION
1 John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
