The Joy Of Homecoming 2016

Summary: Not just homecoming here but over there will be the greatest of all.
THE JOY OF HOMECOMING 2016
1st Thessalonians 4: 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Homecoming has a very special meaning to me it’s a time of fellowship like no other time in life.
If you’re here today you enjoy see each other all the good singing praying and praise.
One day after a while we will have a homecoming we will never forget.
This will be the greatest time in our life when that day comes.
It will exceed all the past homecomings we have ever been to in our life time.
1. It will be everlasting.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
Reunited with love one’s and friends.
Numbers we can not count.
Best of all we will see Jesus.
He made the way for us to come home.
2. Home is what we are looking for.
And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.
No time to say good bye.
No time to make ready now is that time.
This is the everlasting home coming.
3. Everlasting
For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey:
No longer strangers.
Home forever never to return.
No pain no sorrow no sin no death.
What a meeting this will be.
4. Greatest homecoming that has been see.
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Happing in Heaven.
This homecoming will surpass all we have ever known.
No homecoming.
5. You must be a pilgrim ready.
2nd Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
We need to prepare for supper with Jesus.
Meet him face to face.
Joy for ever
Peace beyond belief
Singing and Praise for ever and ever.
Love beyond what we have ever known.
