I. There is a undeniable problem that destroys - pride
[Proverbs 6:17, 8:13, 15:25, 21:4]
A. Pride affirms our sinfulness
[Proverbs 13:10, 21:24, 28:25, 29:23]
B. Pride attacks God's character
[Isaiah 14:12-14, Genesis 3:1-7]
II. There are certain principles to diagnose - humility
A. When we accept the discipline of God
B. When we learn the lessons God intends
C. When we respond to God's plan for us
In the O.T., God humbled people. But in the N.T., people humbled themselves.
