“The Power of Perseverance”

Matthew 10:22 . . .: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

As I got up this morning I felt pains in my body that are a result of sparring in my karate class, preparing for a tournament later this week. Because I ache does that call for me to quit?

Many times in the church the saints of God are ready to give up at the first little trial that makes them uncomfortable. Pain is a part of life. And believe it our not pain is your friend.

> Pain in your life says that you need God.

> Pain says you’re still alive.

> Pain says you need to change something or do something differently.

> Pain reminds you of areas that you are weak in.

> Pain says that you need to improve in and area.

But the one thing that pain does not mean, pain does not say it is time to quit!

Perseverance: Fight the tendency to quit while you’re behind. - Dave Weinbaum

“Pain in your walk with Christ should not and can not be ignored, but you can not allow it to be your thermostat or your measuring stick”- Pastor Martin C. Wilson, I

We have to persevere through the pains of life. As the song writer said, “No Cross, No Crown”
