The Purpose of Breakthrough Isaiah 6:1-8 NIV

Jesus is the Lord of Breakthrough
David defeated the philistines in 1 Chronicles 14 and called the place Baal Perazim meaning the Lord of Breakthrough.
Some breakthroughs are instant, but all breakthroughs require cooperation.
John 9:1-12 Jesus put mud in the blind man’s eyes
V.7 - “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So, the man went and washed, and came home seeing.

Breakthrough requires a paradigm shift in your thinking.
Romans 12:2 Authenticity, Vulnerability, Transparency and Accountability.
This is what happens to Isaiah….Prebreakthrough, breakthrough & purpose.
Isaiah experiences breakthrough because he experiences God.
V.1 I saw the lord – He had an experience with God.
experience – man with an experience is never at the mercy of a man with an opinion, do you know him, or do you know about him?

Proximity produces Trust – Mary, Martha and Lazarus.
When you experience God, you get to know God
SO, what did Isaiah learn about God?
Train of his robe –
1. Jesus has all power and He has ALL Victory.
Paradigm shift in thinking.
Angels of God –
2. God is a supernatural God who provides supernatural help.

Glory of God - Moses show me your glory.
3. The theological foundation that carries Gods glory is goodness.
Meaning, in your belief system lies the ability to have a deeper experience in God.
You just have to believe He’s good, no matter what.
Can you imagine this moment?
Can’t change who you are till you change your perception of who he is
Can’t sustain eternal breakthrough if you don’t know who He really is.
HE is Goodness.
Garden of Eden.
What was the result of this knowledge, this paradigm shift in thinking, this breakthrough?
Forgiveness of God – guilt taken away and sin atoned for. PARDON
STOP BRINGING YOURSELF UP ON CHARGES THAT ARE DISMISSED!
I’m ruined – I’ll never be the same.
I’m burned – I’m on fire.
I’m ready – I can’t contain this.
What is the purpose of breakthrough? To give break through away!
What is horded becomes stale, what’s given away stays fresh for you.
For lasting breakthrough, you must give away breakthrough.
Breakthrough produces a willing heart.
Here am I lord send me.
He’s about to touch you with heavens fire but to keep burning you must release fire.
Jesus said John 14:12 - Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
These signs……….Mark 16:17-20
And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
Matthew 10:1&7-8
Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.
As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy,[a] drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.
Got to see outside the house.
Must think families, neighborhoods, cities, regions and nations.
This breakthrough is eternal, everlasting, generational breakthrough!
2016
Right now, there are over 300,000 Protestant churches in America. Just do the division (300,000 divided by 50 states) and that's an average of 6,000 churches per state. Wow! That's a lot of churches!
Think about it this way: There are 12,000(ish) Starbucks and well over 300,000 churches! So Starbucks can saturate the United States with caffeinated drinks, but almost 30 times more churches can't saturate the United States with the Living Water. Seriously???
According to church growth and discipleship multiplication expert Bill Hull, "It still takes 100 church attendees, a pastor and $100,000.00 a year to win a convert. Among evangelicals it is a bit better, 1.7, this is an ugly fact that should grieve us all."
