The Revealed One
Isa 53:1-12 Acts 8:26-40
Seven hundred years before Jesus was born a prophetic revelation was given to Isaiah the Prophet. The revelation was so overwhelming that he began his discourse with the words. “Who hath believed our report?”
I Jesus was revealed as the arm, servant of the Lord. Isa 53:1
1 He had the appearance of a commoner.
2 He had come to do the will of another.
3 He came to finish the work assigned Him.
4 He came ministering unto others.
II Jesus was revealed as the tender-hearted one. Isa 53:2
1 He was full of compassion.
2 He as sensitive to the needs of others.
3 He was a root out of dry ground.
(His father a poor carpenter, his mother a simple peasant girl)

4 He had the form of a lowly servant.
III Jesus was revealed as the despised and rejected one.
1 He was despised by the religious leaders.
2 He was rejected by the nation of Israel
3 He is held in low esteem.
4 Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?
IV Jesus was revealed as the wounded and bruised One.
1 With his stripes we are healed.
2 All of our sins we laid n Him.
3 He was oppressed and He was afflicted but He remained silent.
4 For our transgressions He was stricken.
V Jesus was revealed as the humble and humiliated One.
1 He died hanging between two thieves.
2 He had done no violence
3 It pleased the Lord to bruise Him.
4 His soul was made an offering for sin.
VI Jesus revealed as the victorious one in death.
1 In death He pleased the Father.
2 In death he justified us.
3 In death He shall bear their iniquities .
4 He was denied a portion with the guest.
5 He shall divide the spoil with the strong.
6 He hath poured out His soul unto death.
7 He was numbered with the transgressors .
8 He bare the sins of many.
9 He made intercession for the transgressors.
