Summary: The Devil is trying to steal your yes and your yes is your highest praise!!!

Psalms 27: 1-6

1The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 3Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. 4One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. 5For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. 6And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

You don’t wait for a praise you create it

The order is not praise and worship, its worship and praise

If you go to church you get church

If you so to a service you get served

If you go to worship you have an encounter, because you have an experience with God

There is an attack on your praise, the devil is trying to steal your yes

John 1: 7-9

7The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

8He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

John 12:35-36

35Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

36While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

1 John 1:5

5This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

It is an acknowledgement of total confidence in God

Romans 8:31 31What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

4-5 Though David took flight from Absalom, he also took flight from Jerusalem

When the children came to worship & Sacrifice they came with something that was costly, they came with animals or grains.

Worship is a sacrifice of something worth something to the worshiper who offers it back to God.

2Samuel 24:24

24And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.
