Summary: Correct the error and destiny will be corrected.

Ecclesiastes 10:5 - 7 MSG

“Here’s a piece of bad business I’ve seen on this earth, An error that can be blamed on whoever is in charge: Immaturity is given a place of prominence, While maturity is made to take a backseat. I’ve seen unproven upstarts riding in style, While experienced veterans are put out to pasture.”

2 Kings 4:1-7 MSG

“One day the wife of a man from the guild of prophets called out to Elisha, “Your servant my husband is dead. You well know what a good man he was, devoted to GOD. And now the man to whom he was in debt is on his way to collect by taking my two children as slaves.” Elisha said, “I wonder how I can be of help. Tell me, what do you have in your house?” “Nothing,” she said. “Well, I do have a little oil.” “Here’s what you do,” said Elisha. “Go up and down the street and borrow jugs and bowls from all your neighbors. And not just a few—all you can get. Then come home and lock the door behind you, you and your sons. Pour oil into each container; when each is full, set it aside.”

She did what he said. She locked the door behind her and her sons; as they brought the containers to her, she filled them. When all the jugs and bowls were full, she said to one of her sons, “Another jug, please.” He said, “That’s it. There are no more jugs.” Then the oil stopped.

She went and told the story to the man of God. He said, “Go sell the oil and make good on your debts. Live, both you and your sons, on what’s left.””

INTRODUCTION

There is an error, listed below.

- When you are not where you should be in life it is an error.

- When you should be enjoying but you are managing it is an error.

- If still bowing down to the devil as a child of God it is an error.

- If you are still borrowing instead of lending to nations it is an error.

- We are tired of the valley so things must change.

:-What they did to you they will regret it. The enemies will regret what they did to you

The account in 2 Kings story of a widow of a servant of God. Had two children.

When husband still alive was in debt. It is an error". This servant lived all is life in poverty.

Borrowing when alive and in death the problems continue into the second generation. Creditor came, to take her children to slavery. But she ran to man of God. That day the situation of widow changed. That error was corrected. Let us see what she did that changed or corrected the error.

SHE DID SOMETHINGS, FOLLOWED THE 7 PRINCIPLES HERE

1. SHE RAN TO THE RIGHT PERSON:-

Not stay at home murmuring and blaming God. Matt. 11:28 Jesus said come to me............ She did the right thing. Had the man of God as a father. Elisha said my father my father. You must have a father not a God father.

She knew she has a father. Ran to the right person. Many go to the wrong person. When God gives you a solution it may not make sense to you. Don't control God according to your personal knowledge and what you know. You may be a professor but listen.

2. DISCOVERED HERSELF:-

What she can do and her potential. She discovered there is a great potential in her. What you need to make you great is in you. The gift of a man will make a way for him, discover it. Three servants were given talents.

All have what takes to be great in life, but you have to discover it. What will make you great is inside of you already. What you see inside you can take you to where you aim to be in life, you to discover it.

Two people looking at a log of wood are seeing different things. Discover yourself and identify. Gen. 39:2. Joseph discovered himself. David discovered himself in the bush. When looking after sheep was playing hand made instruments. Took him to the palace . You have something to give to the world that will make a way for you.

3. IDENTIFY YOUR NEEDS:-

This woman identified her needs. Was asked and she said it all. Don't hide. God will not release what you don't ask for. Mark 10:51 blind man. Spoke about his needs. Jesus was not blind knew the problem, but still asked because some may be thinking of something else.

4. BE GOOD TO PEOPLE:-

Elisha said go and borrow empty pots. Brought all the pots. Everyone in the village surrendered their pots. Evidence of woman being good. You cannot get to the top alone you need somebody.
