When they heard

Acts 4:23-24 . 24 When they heard this, they raised their voices together in prayer to God. “Sovereign Lord,” they said, “you made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything in them.

Jesus left them, they received the power to minister and saw the miracles in their life. Now they are facing the enemy and the battle in their life. In our life also we face this battle every day.

1. They – Disciples – who is this people, they experienced the power of God in their life.

A. They saw

B. They touched

C. They sat

D. Gave arm to the needy

E. They spoke the word (witnesses)

2. They heard. –We hear things and reports every day. We need to respond to the things you hear every day.

A. Warning and threat of the enemy.

B. Roomers, from various reports of the enemy and negative people

C. Heard that you can not speak about your faith

D. You can not speak about the resurrection of Christ

E. You cannot speak or teach about Jesus Christ

3. They act.

A. Gather together.

B. Raised the voice –m not to curse, but to praise God.

C. They worshiped God

D. They petitioned to God.

E. They quote the Word of God.

They use the promises of God from the Word.

They wanted to see the hand of the Lord to reach to the situation

(They saw the hand worked with Peter’s hand)

4. Lord answered.

A. They were filled with the Spirit of God

We need that filling again and again.

B. The spoke the Word.

C. 1.The place they were staying shaken

This was not the answer they were waiting.

God was reminding them the power of God.

The place you are sitting is not the safest place.

2. The foundation of the prison started to shake

(Paul and Silas- Chain came down.

3. The ship Paul was traveling wrecked in to pieces.

4. Eagle shakes its nest – to teach the chicks to fly.

5.Lord will shake the place you sitting will shake one more time. Haggai 2:6Haggai 2:6,76 “This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. 7 I will shake all nations, and the desired of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the LORD Almighty.
