Three Keys To Building A Strong Foundation

The Rain Falls...
No matter what you build your house on
Watch enough...TBN....Make you think if the rain’s falling...something’ wrong
If you want live in a chicken coup...Fine with me... Any Foundation will do
If you want to live with power....
CHECK YOUR FOUNDATION
Skyscrapers...Before the build them up...
SPEND A YR. GOING DOWN
BUILDING A STRONG FOUNDATION
1. Be in the church God wants you to be
ELIJAH.... “What Doest Thou?”
People think you can effectively serve God...And not Go to church
The men wrote the books in NT...We’re all a part of a LOCAL CHURCH
I’m not talking about....GOING TO HEAVEN
1 Cor 12: 25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. 26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
If were going to rejoice together...Suffer together- WE GOTTA GET TOGETHER
To be planted in a church...Means you don’t float
Kids...Drinking your drink
Floating Parts.....BLOOD CLOTS
Why do you go to church there.....
“It’s close” “My Parents went there”
“I got a friend that goes there”
Every been craving a certain food...
Nothing else will do....Don’t care where your friends eat
2. Have a Clear Vision
Prov 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. KJV
Vision....Pulls you......Thru trouble...Problems...Pain...When you don’t feel like going
Rules don’t produce Discipline
VISION PRODUCES DISCIPLINE
Team...Kids...Marriages
You’ll say no to the other things...
IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WANT
If you don’t know what you want...
YOU’LL TAKE WHAT YOU CAN GET.
This is why.. End up in jobs we hate...Future we hate...Present we hate...no vision
You can go sailing with no compass...I’LL PASS
Clueless Christians...Clueless plans...Clueless LIFE
“The Lord will tell me where to go”... Christians only one who say that stuff
PILOT...I”M SURE THE LORD WILL TELL US TO GO
“Our destination is DALLAS”
...IF Dallas is not your destination...Please tell a flight attendant
“Our destination is freedom
...IF THIS IS NOT YOUR DESTINATION....FIND A NEW CHURCH”
3. Guard Your Heart
Matthew 12: 35 A good man out of the good treasure of his hear brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.
Where you are today...Is where you’re heart has gotten you....Guard your heart
Proverbs 13:12 Hope Deferred Makes the Heart Sick
If you’re heart ain’t right...The rest of you will not work
Cant walk...Run...steps...fly...
Sick hearts cant be strong for other people...
Sick hearts can’t fight Battles...
Sick Hearts Can’t Go the extra mile
God wouldn’t ask you to do it...
If he Didn’t KNOW that you could
