Summary: Just a small outline to help christians and others find comfort during this time of crisis in the United States and in the World.
Thy Rod and Thy Staff They Comfort Me.
Everyone seems to be looking for comfort, for answers during this time of crisis. Please allow me to share with you Five (5) different ways we can be comforted.
Thy Rod and Thy Staff They Comfort Me.
A- We can get comfort from God.
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all Comfort.
B- We can get comfort from Jesus Christ.
If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any Comfort of love, if any fellowship of the spirit, if any bowels and mercies Fulfil ye my joy.
C- We can get comfort from the Holy Spirit.
Then had the churches rest throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the Comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
D- We can get comfort from the Scriptures.
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and Comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
E- We can get comfort form Each Other.
Wherefore Comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
I hope and pray these verses from God’s Word will help you during these troubling times. I hope and pray other Pastors can use these to share with the sheep in their fold.
May the Lord continue to Bless and Keep us is my prayer.
