Summary: If you think wicked man is going to have their way with others and Jehovah, Dr. Derrick has two words to say: NOT HAPPENING!
Many pastors will be delivering politically-charged up messages surrounding the death of Terri Schiavo and rightfully so, because of our Christian stance on the sanctity of human life and how Jehovah is holding life to a very high esteem.
Psalm 36:9 expresses it very well about Him as "the fountain of life."
But, this Christ-based pastors (and I do not about other Calvary Chapel pastors in the United States) will take it to another extreme and show just how man has went with his depraved, debasing mind...and it is not a very pretty picture.
Read 2 Timothy 3:13 to see and this is why people who know Bible prophecy should never pray for man’s heart to change: "while evil men and imposters will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived."
It is bad enough that every inclination of the thought of his heart was evil all the time from the time they are young (Genesis 6:5 and 8:21) and man has went at great lengths to act out on their sinful desires upon others, and he will continue to think of ways to carry out more sin.
Instead of calling sin like it is according to Jehovah Himself, man has given it new names to make it sound very pleasant, appealing and ’normal’ to do in society.
That is exactly what David observed! No one around him, like people today (and I am including those present who are religious, grown up in a church or a carnal Christians) has no respect for God. The New International Version say that "there is no fear of God before his eyes" (Psalm 36:1).
Our society has gotten away from having a loving relationship with God, and one that would not allow sin or wicked men to ruin the nation’s stand before God, and they continue to look for opportunties to sin...and they did with poor Terri Schiavo.
And they do not care if sin affects them or others (Psalm 36:2). They are too busy loving it, promoting it and glorifying in it...and sin is also justified and embraced among those in the Christian community. No wonder Jehovah has given man over to sin (Romans 1:24, 26 and 28) and let man accept it and the nasty consequences to go with it!
I know that there will be some who will be very acrimonious with me with what God has placed on my heart to share with us and that is okay with me. All I can say are two words for them: Not Happening.
Since they don’t to go to heaven with me, I am not making plans on going to hell with them.
I know that associating with people who will continue to live in sin will affect my relationship with God and it will leave a very poor perception for others who desire to accept Christ and those I am responsible for as Christ’s undershepherd (see 1 Corinthians 15:33).
It is important to remember these two Wisdom Keys:
1. Relationships Can Increase or Decrease Your Wisdom.
2. The Wise Hate Evil and The Evil Hate The Wise.
Why waste time with those who will be so proud, arrogant and willing to reject God’s correction or advice? Just pray that they will come to their senses before it is too late.
Only Jehovah will decide their fate depending on a sinner’s response to His Love. If one continues to go on the path to sin, Jehovah has two options: 1. He can allow calamity and hardship to fall on him or her as Jehovah’s judgment on the person, forcing His Hand on the person to be saved and redeemed from sin, or 2. He will let the person go on his path to self-destruction and eternal condemnation (Psalm 36:12).
