II. Is Born... A Precious Gift

What could be more precious than a baby? God did not send His Son in power and great glory. He sent Him wrapped in humanity! A Birth Matt 1:22-23 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. A Baby Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. A Boy Matt 1:25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS. III. This Day... A Purposeful Gift

Christ is the most useful gift one could have. He is always needed and always available. A. Presented . . Today. Heb 3:7-8 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, 8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

B. Presented . . Now. 2 Cor 6:2; (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

C. Presented . . Why. For our Salvation IV. In the City of David... A Prophetic Gift

The perfect gift is hard to find. This one was prophesied hundreds of years before A. Promised The . . City. Lk. 2:11 "in the city of David a Saviour, Mic 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

B. Promised The . . Christ. who is Christ the Lord. Mt. 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. John 1:41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ. C. Promised The . . King. John 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. V. A Saviour.... A Practical Gift

He is the gift that EVERYONE needs! All have sinned Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. VI. Christ the Lord .... A Powerful Gift

He is the gift to end all gifts! There is no other Christmas gift guaranteed to change a life! The Father has already offered this gift. Was ever a gift like the Saviour given? No, not one! No, not one!

Will He refuse us a home in Heaven? No, not one! No, not one! Refrain Jesus knows all about our struggles, He will guide till the day is done;

There’s not a friend like the lowly Jesus, No, not one! No, not one!
