We all need a helping hand.

~ Talk about why we need each other.

Exodus 17:8-16

~ A war came after a blessing. ( water from the rock.)

~ Satan tries to attack you after a blessing.

~ Moses told Joshua to go get some men to fight the Amelekites.

~ Moses stood on top of the hill with the rod of God.

~ Moses knew strength comes from the hill (Psalms 121:1)

~ If Moses kept his hands lifted Joshua prevailed.

HOW IT WAS DONE.

PRAYER

~ Moses intercede for them.

~ Matthew 18:19-20 Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am with them.

~ We will be answered when we pray.

SERVICE

~ Joshua did what Moses told him to do without any questions.

~ Moses went up on the hill with Aaron and Hur.

~ Moses lifted up his hands.

CONTINUOUS SUPPORT.

~ Aaron and Hur placed him on a rock and helped him lift his hands.

~ Galatians 6:1-3 We need support to keep us on the right track.

~ We need people to pray for us.

~ Moses lifted his hands to Worship God.
