Summary: Made By God, For God, With God.

We Are God’s Design!

Who am I?

Have you ever asked yourself the question when pondering through life’s experiences? Have you ever considered what makes you, you? What is it all for? Well if we ask today what or who we are it should also lead us to wonder where did we come from?

Well if we allow God to answer this for us from his word to us we see that in the book of Genesis 1:26,27. God said let us make man in our image. This shows the triune God in his work as he created us, announced us in the midst of creation and proceeded to do just that create us. But not just any old us, but us in his own image and likeness. Not God but like God. With teh ability to think, reason, consider, react and respond, with logical thought and the ability to commune and fellowship with God. God gave us the dominion and responsibility to take care of the rest of Gods creation. You see "Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture" (Ps/ 100:3).

Why am I here?

Solomon says "let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man: (Ecc. 12:13).

Revelations tells us that The Lord is worthy to receive of glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created".

Where am I going?

We only need to read John 3:16 to see and know what God has in store for his people. We know because of what he has done for us, and through the adoption what he has done to us. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son; that whosoever believeth on him shall not persih, but have everlasting life. Read Ps.23:1,6. According to Rev 20:15, thats why we must believe that our names are written in the lambs book of life. that we must not see death in the eternal fires of hell. Jesus secured that for the believers by giving his life as a ransom for many, for me and for you, if we only accept him and the victory that he gave us in his resurrection from the grave. AMEN.
