Wearing Mask? Playing Hide And Go Seek!

Summary: WHERE ARE YOU? We walk in a day where many religious people are wearing mask to hide their real issues of the heart. Why do people tend to hide issues --- could it be we don't want correction? Saul seemed to mask his problems instead of being teachable and accept correction.
WEARING MASKS? Playing hide and seek?

DOWNWARD FLOW OF POOR CHOICES…CHOICES: WHY ARE YOU HIDING? WANT TO SEE PURE STUPIDITY? WHY DID ADAM AND EVE HIDE FROM GOD?
Adam and Eve failed they were ashamed and guilty. Their choice was either to confess and repent or COVER THEMSELVES AND HID… HOW CAN YOU HIDE FEAR FROM THE ALL KNOWING, ALL POWERFUL GOD?
*HIDE: conceal, keep out of sight, out of view, camouflaged, to keep a secret.
SAULS SEEMS TO LOVE TO HIDE BEHIND THE MASKS OF DISOBEDIENCE… WE ARE A PRODUCT OF OUR DAILY CHOICES… I AM TIRED OF WAITING ON THAT OLD PREACHER…SAUL’S EGO, HIS PRIDE, HIS SELFISH DESIRES
1 Samuel 13:8 And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him. 9 And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering. 10 And it came to pass, that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might salute him.
WHY ARE WE HIDING? FEAR? THE LACK OF OBEDIENCE? THE LACK OF WAITING? THE LACK OF PREPARATION? FEAR IS A RESULTS OF THE LACK OF TRUSTING GOD AND NOT LISTENING TO THE PREACHER.
THE CHOICE OF a mask? WILL WE HEED THE WARNING OF GOD AND PREACHER SAMUEL… OLD FOGEY IN ATTITUDES, IDEAS AND MANNERS.
1 Samuel 12:20 And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart; 21 And turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain. 22 For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people. 23 Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way: 24 Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you. 25 But if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, both ye and your king.
Preacher Samuel WARNS THE PEOPLE... Don't allow fear to RULE… To be in fear, full of fear is a MASKED SIGN OF MAKING BAD CHOICES. Yes we have really messed up. It is true we have done things very wrong. We must returned to God’s plan and trust God, the IAM. Come back…don't turn your back on GOD. Worship and serve him heart and soul! GOD takes delight in making us his very own people.
GOD PROMISES HE WILL NEVER LEAVE THEM God will never walk away and leave us.
SAMUEL SAYS: I'm staying right here at my post praying for you and teaching you the good and right way to live.
IT IS VERY CLEAR, we must fear GOD and worship him honestly and with a whole heart. Our testimony should be we know and have seen a mighty God at work on our behave.
Be warned: If you live badly, both you and your king will be thrown out. THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES OF LIVING IN FEAR…
DENIAL --- FEAR BRINGS A LYING SPIRIT… TO CLEARLY DEFINE THE PROBLEM IS THE BEGINNING OF THE SOLUTION…
1 Samuel 13:4 And all Israel heard say that Saul had smitten a garrison of the Philistines, and that Israel also was had in abomination with the Philistines. And the people were called together after Saul to Gilgal.
HEAR THE TRUTH?
1 Samuel 13:3 And Jonathan smote the garrison of the Philistines that was in Geba, and the Philistines heard of it. And Saul blew the trumpet throughout all the land, saying, Let the Hebrews hear.
THE MASK OF MORE AND LESS. THE MASK OF FEAR --- FEAR BREEDS MORE FEAR…. CHOICES? WE ARE A PRODUCT OF OUR CHOICES! WHY ARE WE HIDING? IS IT BECAUSE THE ENEMY IS SO BIG?
1 Samuel 13:5 And the Philistines gathered themselves together to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the sea shore in multitude: and they came up, and pitched in Michmash, eastward from Bethaven.
1 Samuel 13:15 And Samuel arose, and gat him up from Gilgal unto Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people that were present with him, about six hundred men.
FEAR REALIZES A LYING AND HIDING SPIRIT…
1 Samuel 13:6 When the men of Israel saw that they were in a strait, (for the people were distressed,) then the people did hide themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in rocks, and in high places, and in pits.
