Week 4 The Out Side Of Worship: Proclamation! Series

Summary: Those who truly worship God must do all they can to declare His name to the nations.
Question: How can we truly worship God while hoarding the Gospel within our walls?
This is Isaiah’s story notice that:
1. God is the one who calls the worshipper to go Witness! Isaiah 6:8 “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” (NIV)
In this question we see:
Divine Opportunity!
Individual Availability!
Personal Willingness!
Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes…” (HCSB)
2. God commands the worshipper to declare His Truth! Isaiah 6:9-10 “He said, “Go and tell this people: “‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’ Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.” (NIV)
It is hard to tell the truth!
God’s message:
The Lord is calling but it will not last forever!
The decision is yours, life or death.
“God never hardens hearts that would otherwise be soft. God simply brings the hardness to the surface.” J. Vernon McGee
The time is now!
Isaiah 55:6 “Seek the Lord while He may be found; call to Him while He is near.” (HCSB)
3. God challenges the worshipper to persist in the Call! Isaiah 6:11-13 “Then I said, “For how long, O Lord?” And he answered: “Until the cities lie ruined and without inhabitant, until the houses are left deserted and the fields ruined and ravaged, until the LORD has sent everyone far away and the land is utterly forsaken… so the holy seed will be the stump in the land.” (NIV)
How long must we Go:
Until every house is empty! Vs. 11
Until all hope is gone! Vs. 12
Until every heart has decided! Vs. 13
Acts 20:26-27 “Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of everyone’s blood, for I did not shrink back from declaring to you the whole plan of God.” (HCSB)
Those who truly worship God must do all they can to declare His name to the nations.
