Summary: A lot of people can point out the problems in this old world, but there are a only few people who are doing something about the condition this world is in, that are trying to make a difference!

Verse 35-37-When the day was now far spent, His disciples came to Him and said, “This is a deserted place, and already the hour is late.

Send them away, that they may go into the surrounding country and villages and buy themselves bread; for they have nothing to eat.”

But He answered and said to them, “You give them something to eat.” And they said to Him, “Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?”

There are a lot of people who want to deal with problems or with other peoples problems this way…Send Them Away!

Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind!

But look at Jesus response, “You Give Them Something To Eat!”

In other words, you see the problem now find the answer!

A lot of people can point out the problems in this old world, but there are a only few people who are doing something about the condition this world is in, that are trying to make a difference!

He is not asking them to do something that they can’t do, they have the resources they need, (they just got back from healing the sick, casting out demons) and plus…He Is Right There!!!

Verse 38-40-But He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” And when they found out they said, “Five, and two fish.”

Then He commanded them to make them all sit down in groups on the green grass.

So they sat down in ranks, in hundreds and in fifties.

Five, and two fish-I’m sure the disciples thought, how is that going to feed that many people, they doubted, just like we do!

We don’t have much talent and we don’t think God can use it!

We don’t have much money and we don’t think God can make a difference with it.

But Jesus says, “Little In My Hands Is Much!”

There Is No Telling What God Can Do With Us And Thru Us, If We Give Him What We Have!

It doesn’t matter how small of talent we think we have or how small our resources maybe, if we will just give it to God!

What He can do with us and thru us is only limited to what we are allowing Him to do!

We limit a limitless God!

Verse 41-44-And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all.

So they all ate and were filled.

And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of the fish.

Now those who had eaten the loaves were about five thousand men.

When He Had Taken The Five Loaves- More proof that God takes what we offer!

The boy gave and the disciples dispensed!

Our job as Christians is to dispense Spiritual food and when the needs call for it, physical food also!

Twelve Baskets Full Of Fragments-I wonder what happen to the fragments of bread, because we learn later that they had misplaced them, or lost them but I was thinking that that bread feed somebody, it nourished someone, it helped someone..

People come in and out of our lives, and just the fragment of their life touch our life and can change it for the better, but for a brief moment in time they nourish our soul, and they may not even know it and I am sure that happens with us and us touching peoples lives.

(The people who stay with us, when we were first married, they gave me a book about prayer, and some of the stories they told us about what God had done in their life, I have told those stories time and time again, and it has encouraged people thru the years, and we only knew them for a weekend, but God has used that experience, many times.)

Fragments Means Broken Pieces-God can use the broken pieces of our lives to help others!
