What does it mean to be Directionally Challenged?

Matthew 18:7-14 kjv

Matthew 18:7-14

Mt 18:7Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! therefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

Matthew 18:7-14

And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 18:7-14

For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

What’s the worse

What’s the worse thing that can happen to us in this world?

Sickness

Loss of love one

Job loss

Actually Jesus says that the world will set stumbling blocks in front of us, in order to lead us into sin.

The worst thing is to live life only to loose it.

If you live to keep it!

If you live life to keep life you will loose it.

Mt 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Lost

So if the worst thing that can happen is to get to the end of life and be lost, then what is it like to be lost.

No direction

No purpose, wandering

No help

Fearful

Wasted time

Don’t know Jesus?

People in the world that do not know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior

Go through life, without since of purpose, without goals.

They have no hope for the future, so they must attain everything they can here and now.

They spend their lives trying to save them and end up loosing it.

The worst thing

So what’s the worst thing for a Christian?

No sense of direction.

No purpose

No help

Fear

In essence they are lost!

Lost Christians

To be clear let me say, once Christians are saved, truly saved, they are saved. Period.

However when you are saved, you are saved for a purpose.

If you are not fulfilling that purpose, not relying on God, not following Him, stumbling over every block the world sets before you then, in some sense you are lost (directionally)

Not seeking God’s help

Wondering around, not knowing God’s will and fearful

There is good news

For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

Lost or Directionally Challenged

No matter what;

Lost – Jesus Saves

Saved- Jesus leads

No more need for lack of direction or purpose, no more looking for help, Jesus is always there, and will never leave you.

And no need for FEAR!
