What Does the Bible Say About Forgiveness?
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
We are set free from our past of sin, we are set free from the power of sin, we will be set free from the presence of sin.
We are thus called, into this life of freedom, to forgive others that we might experience greater measures of freedom.
