1) Hell is real.

Hell is not an eternal orgy

A) Isolation

B) Fire

C) Darkness

D) Eternal Gnashing of Teeth

A) Hell is total isolation.

Matthew 27:26

About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani!” -- which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me.”

B) Hell is a fiery furnace.

C) Hell is blackest darkness.

Jude 13 “They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame, wandering stars, for the blackest darkness has been reserved forever.”

D) Hell is eternal, gnashing of teeth.

Matt. 13: 50 “...and throw them into fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

2) Hell is avoidable.

A) Good News -- created in the Image of God

B) Bad News -- all are sinners

“…but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.”

C) Jesus as the Gift of God

Ephesians 2:8

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -- and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”
