What Is Man

Summary: Man is one of the greatest things in God,s eyes.
WHAT IS MAN
Job 7:17What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him?
As we look at the next four things about man ask yourself how can a just God find anything good about us.
1.We are formed in God’s image
Gen.1:27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
2. We have fallen from his innocence
Romans 5:12Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
3.Man is the enemy of God
Romans 5:9Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
4. Man murder of God’s only son
Acts 7:52Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
5 We are the object of God’s love
John 3 :16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
