Summary: What is acceptable and pleasing ministry to God.

When John and James requested Jesus to grant them seat one on the right and another on the left in the glory, remaining ten disciples heard it and began to be indignant at James and John (v41).

Then Jesus called all of them and gave them a timeless lesson which is contrary to the philosophy and practice in the world.

Whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all (Mk 10:44).

We all must root this teaching deep into our hearts, whether we are called to positions of leadership or to serve God and His people in any form.

We are in the days of knowledge explosion where knowledge is easily available and made generation high-minded and independent.

We hear more about MINSITRY calling and we can witness many have started ministries which doesn’t have any followers but only leaders.

As many think about MINISTRY is not just standing and preaching or working solo or laying of hands on people's heads, but word MINISTRY is derived from Latin word which means "MINUS".

A man who is called to CHRISTIAN MINISTRY should minus himself to bless others to the maximum extent possible. This is the real picture of the word MINISTRY.

Our motto should be,

"I want to be nobody to bless somebody"

Ï don’t want to be a great vessel; I want to be a useful vessel"

Through this kind of motto and ministry we can honor and please God.
